Farmed for a day watching the bot while watching tele put up around 100 auctions then put up auctions of just general crap i had in my guild bank low lvl shit mainlly played all afternoon of my own account logged off got a email that I was banned not suspended but fully banned 1 day after purchasing wod and 3mths. I have been told they detected 3rd part software is this possible? I was under the impression that Blizz couldnt detect the bot and only if i was a tool and run it days on end with no breaks etc would I be caught 9yrs or work down the plug hole I barely ever even used the bot I am crushed.

Ask what the third party software is because you're on a shared computer and you 'were unaware anything dodgy was running and want to know to remove it or disable it' before playing WoW.

If the above fails and you do not get reduced to 72 hour suspension or back to where you're free to play either:

      A) Ask for the matter to be escalated and ask to submit a complaint about their overzealous handling of the event.

or B) Ask for a refund on WoD / Game Time, full payment doesn't constitute a deposit so it cannot be withheld and if they fail to deliver goods and/or services that have been paid for in full they're partaking in a fraudulent activity.

Just my advice, depends what country you're in as to sales laws, etc.

Also, don't bot on your main account.

If you put in a ticket, they will get it down to 72h
just mention that you have been playing wow for 9 years and wouldn't do anything and that it's all a mistake
      Ask for thorough review

I have the same problem. Farmed for 20m with Gatherbuddy 2 and got a permaban and they aren't willing to reduce it to 72h.

You forgot the part where you said you farmed for 24/7 straight til they decided to ban your account. Sigh. Too early on a sunday to have to put up with liars that try to turn this another bot is detected and sucks thread.

      I said I bot 24/7 not that I FARM 24/7. There is a difference.

When I don't farm I run rep profiles and dailies and BG's and Questing but I don't FARM 24/7.

      Lol, which is still botting.

There is ALWAYS a chance to get banned for botting. This is your own risk.

You can be botting (that means farming/running rep profiles/BGbuddy) for half an hour and get banned.

Know the risks, don't bot if you are afraid of bans.

Yes, it's still botting but it's not FARMING. I was accused of FARMING 24/7 which I don't do.

Lol. Its like saying I did not kill my wife because I hired a hit man to do it. He killed her but I didnt. Any form of botting whether it be farming for mats, bgs or anything else for 24/7 is still botting. A liar that thinks a bit of word play will change anything. I wish that kid on liar liar had wished the entire world could not lie ever again then I would say 90% of misinformation about bans and and Blizzard's tactics could be proven more then heresay. Why even have a ban forum when it should be dubbed the liars forum.

Most people who are banned will never admit the real reason they got banned. But it is more often then not in the category of greedy, selfish, or ignorant.

most every one of my bans were because i got sloppy. running the same profile for days, botting in a public area. telling a friend i botted, got greedy and thought i NEEDED a new 200k mount. trading f2f, selling to the trade chat spammers[yes, there are people that spam WTB in trade chat then report you once they get their goods] even to the point i think some may be a trap as ive been banned instantly after trading to a trade chat spammer on a couple accounts. i can count 'for sure' bans in the above mentioned. tested, with repeat bans.

one instance, on illidan-many accounts ago- i sold to a trade chat spammer for cod. i mailed 50+ stacks to them. whispered, with a quick 'mailed, check in about an hour'. i got the response 'thanks, enjoy your ban'. and was instantly kicked offline and banned.
thought it was odd, so i picked up a second farmer, different account, found the spammer about an hour later, offered to sell 50 stacks. and the same exact conversation ensued. 'thanks, enjoy your ban'

either a blizz employee setting a trap, or an asshole buyer who enjoyed reporting people. see it however you want.

now on illidan-horde, I NO LONGER BOT THERE, i enjoy screwing with 3 spammers in particular, you know who they are if you have toons on illidan. i report them all three for spamming, and i get dc'd about 1 in 3 attempts. ive even got my guildies doing the same thing. they thought i was crazy till they repeated the experiment and get dc'd as well.

the lesson here is, enjoy the game, bot if you want, but remember , its only a damn game. if you treat your account like you would your first-born, then you might now want to bot on it.

I have been lucky I have 10 accounts I use and only once since using honorbuddy got 3 of them banned which was reduced to a week ban. I got lazy and mass dumped about 20k auctions in mats one weekend. Most of my accounts my friends and real life family play on when I do not use them so they get lots of human action as well. I wonder if that puzzles Blizzard whether or not my farming toons are bots or real people.

I stopped using GB ages ago. You should too. Also BGBuddy, except when I am 100% watching it. I only have my main account.
