remove: - microsoft .net framework 4 client profile - microsoft .net framework 4 extended - microsoft .net framework 4.5.1 - microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable - microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable restart your pc, download the installationwizard from here run it as administrator. after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++ restart
yea, its something in your windows install thats been changed or got messed up, the only thing thats going to fix it is to reinstall windows.
I just wanted to followup with a fix action for this problem... I was too determined not to re-install windows so I found a solution. Checked the following registry entry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\FipsAlgorithmPolicy\ Changed Enabled='0' Honorbuddy and Razer Synapse started working immediately after making the change.
