When I open the launcher, the program crashes, opens Wow and HB. Then I try to log in and I get Authentication Failed message pop up. I've read lots of threads and tried the things listed but nothing has worked. Pop up: http://puu.sh/bklUr/ee344ddb43.jpg Log: View attachment 5412 2014-09-04 01.21.txt Thanks
are you sure the key your trying to use is the same one listed on the buddyauth website? are you sure theres no spaces before or after your key? if your sure, try flushing your dns Flush DNS - What's My DNS? reset your host file back to default. How to Reset Hosts File to Default in Windows? - AskVG and try power cycling your home router.
ok, well the key is fine, but it hasn't been used yet. make sure you can get to Home Page - Buddy Auth Portal and make sure port 5031 is open on your home router and software firewall solution if you have one.
The launcher keeps crashing as soon as I launch, I have no idea how to fix it - tried fresh installs etc.
dont use the launcher. wow needs to be running in 32bit mode. to do this watch this video. it covers every possible way to get wow to start in 32 bit mode. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=St0xz-gf0zg after wow is started in 32bit mode, get fully logged in and in game, then start honorbuddy.exe
Tried it so many times and still failing. Edit 1: Done the steps over and over with no change in the error. Edit 2: Tested on another PC, worked fine, so it's an issue with my system.
