I noticed that the bot sometimes doesn't engage Instructor Chillheart in Scholomance and just stands there. While the DPS stand near the end of the room and instantly die from the ice. (I run a 5 man MoP Heroic team)

I have had no problems with engaging ChillHeart, it usually clears the trash first then hits Chilly. I have noticed that if you dont kill Chilly fast enough then the DPS dies. Really need to back them against the wall.

Hi, Itabdiel, and Becy, and many thanks for that log!
      Hi, Merock73 and Tomten2,

HB-1118 ("Deserter buff still appears to be an issue") has been marked as repaired, and should be available in the next (post-.747) Honorbuddy drop. This is the release note:

"The bug where bot exits instance upon joining, causing it to get deserter debuf is now believed to be fixed."

      cheers,
      chinajade

      Hi, Sjppeere,

We run BFD all the time, and have never experienced what you describe. To chase a problem like this, we will most certainly need your log of the incident. It could've been a lag burst, running too many sloppily written plugins, some kind of buff interference from a combat routine, or a bazillion other things.

      cheers,
      chinajade

      2. Possible to set a WaitTimer when the Boss is pulled?

      Hi, Kaelhoel,

We appreciate the suggestion, but feel the value this provides would be minimal versus the code complexity and maintenance it would introduce to Dungeonbuddy. (Recall that town runs are required to empty bags and repair.)

As Ilja Rogoff and Y2krazy point out, the common solution to this problem is to spread the toons out in a large city. Orgrimmar and Stormwind have about 10-15 good areas to camp a toon with a repair vendor, and mailbox nearby. For our teams, we frequently just use different cities entirely.

      cheers,

      Hi, Glidarkatten,

The "once a week" limitation is not imposed by DungeonBuddy but by the WoWclient and the WoWserver itself. So, "no", there is no way around this limitation.

      Hi, Y2krazy,

We very much appreciate the logs and all the details you have provided here.

However, we've never seen this happen to a 'stock' DungeonBuddy as shipped. In fact, we believe the problem to be with one or more of your plugins.

Would you be so kind to do a "clean install" (in parallel to your existing installation), and use it to replicate the problem? If you can manage to reproduce the problem from the clean install, we'll be more than glad to write it up. But, we need to do it this way to prevent the bug report being immediately dismissed as not reproduceable.

      cheers,
      chinajade

      Hi, Happyfriet,

Such problems can be caused by combat routines, or poorly-written plugins. I'd first disable all your plugins, and see if the problem goes away. Next, I'd try using Singular.

If you still have issues after trying these things, please post the full log that captures the problem so we can have a look.

      cheers,

      Hi, Boatswain,

This sounds like a problem with your Combat Routine, or perhaps you queued the healer for a DPS role instead of healing. In any case, we'll need to see the full log of the event to figure it out.

      cheers,

      Hi, Fresh2death,

No, there is no setting to disable the popup. As Y2krazy points out, the dialog should go away on its own in a few seconds.

      Hi, Fresh2death,

The "deserter buff" is a separate issue, and we've already provided an answer here.

      Hi, Katelyn,

Please provide a log for each of these issues. We can't fix what we can't see.

      Hi, Unmomento,

You can write or alter dungeon scripts to do this. The scripts shipped with Dungeonbuddy do not do this, and we will be unable to assist you with such an endeavor.

      cheers,

Hi, Greywolf74, and thank you for the new logs.

But, we were very clear that although the problem has been repaired, the fix will not be available until AFTER the .747 drop. So, "no", you don't have the repaired version of Honorbuddy, yet.

      cheers,
      chinajade

      Hi, Tumbum,

HB-967 ("Siege of Orgrimmar, Gates of Retribution (wing2): Running too close and explicitly pulling Iron Juggernaut") claims the repair is in HB .746. But, strangely there is no release note for it.

I don't know what you're talking about with the WaitTimer. If you want a particular alternative technique, you'll need to explain it to me, so I can write it up. Are we still talking about the Juggernaut?

Please bear in mind that I don't raid or do SoO, so you'll have to use small words to describe the alternative technique.

      cheers,
      chinajade
