Hi! Have a small question here, if you get banned for botting on games like WoT, neverwinter and the other MMO's that is available on steam do you also get banned on steam? im wondering since most of these games got their own clients even if they're downloaded through steam.
Yes, you can get your entire steam account banned for cheating in a game while connected to the Steam network. You'll most likely be banned from playing on any secured servers through Steam, so you'll have zero ability to play any multi-player game again on that steam account and you'll lose all those multi-player game licenses. You'll most likely be able to play single player games still, but they can ban an entire Steam account. They also will not un-ban you for any reason, and their customer support does not have the ability to un-ban you after a ban. You also cannot transfer any game licenses off a Steam account after the key's been registered with the network.
No you will not lose your account if it is not a Vac game which it says on the game page if its not or if it is you will not lose your account example I hack on APB I get banned on APB my steam account I hacked on does not get banned
It is quite disappointing that a cheating in a game may lead complete ban on steam account related to steam network.
