Hello all, about 3 weeks ago I got banned using Gatherbuddy (but I think using Honorbuddy is what really got me) on my druid doing a public profile gathering in MoP. It was my only account so when I did play (havent subbed much in MoP) this was it! It got me 5 - 85 to 90's (What a shit exp was MoP, seriously hated the whole leveling thing.) and a level 70 then I won't really play. Oh and 10 600 professions and about 100k gold (Not counting the gold that I spend.)

At the end I was posting ores and herbs as fast as the market could take them... got careless... dug too deep. If i could redo it I would keep to around 2000k a day in sold profite. I was not planning on selling this gold nor have I ever used anything like a gold seller.
But the thing that must have gotten me captured was the Honorbuddy. I felt it in my water as they say... I knew it was a dumb thing to do. And I even afked it!! Got full 522 in about 4 days played. And you know what I honestly though? I thought they would really let it slide this time around. Man servers are low pop! I honestly thought they will not ban a paying customer this time. There were hundreds of Honorbuddies running AV! LOL! And everyone who has tried HB has seen it fuck up a million times! That shit is just too dangerous.

Now I was very sad for about a week, cause I have been banned before and I never managed to get those accounts back but yesterday I though fuck it, at least ill try to get it back. So I made a not very long ticket on Blizz site and pretty much asked, been playing many years, was my account compromised? Just now I got the verdict - 72 hour suspension!!

So fucking great! Yes yes I know its not wise to bot on your main account but the game just isnt much fun without Buddy and you all know this after a while you go FUCK IT!

This has been my main account for about 4 years now, got 6 chars on it, some pretty cool mounts and well... its fucking great! They did warn me and for the forseeable future I will be careful not to bot on it (probably going to make another botting account not tied to this Battle.net account if WoD proves fun.).

So great to have my chars back and my heirlooms!!

I'm curious about my gold though, i have managed to amas around 100k and i'm doubtfull they will let me keep it but until I can log in I wont know for sure.

Anyhow this is my story. Moral? If you get banned at least try and put the minimal amount of effort and try and get it back! It worked for me maybe it will work for you.

Well atleast you understand that if you care alot about your account, to not bot on it. I bot on all my accounts. But I understand the main risk of being banned. But I play for fun, I don't care about having to relevel.

My worry is that even though I don't bot on my main account, that its going to get banned. I'm even more worried that I won't get it back because there's an authenticator on it.

      basic security list
      • use a different account, do not just create another wow license on the same email
      • dont bot from same PC as you play your main on
      • pay the bot account by using non-traceable gamecards
this served me well for years

      sidenote:
i skipped the *****/*** part, cause it depends on the provider you got; public/well-known ones often are a major disadvantage

The only problem with this right now is that I only have one pc right now. The even crappier part about that is its a laptop :/
