hello i have been using your api since its start and i must say that it has done wonders for me, but i have a question and a request, could you plz explain what are the 2 different versions of control for? and could you add that to the description on the first page so its would be easy to find for all? I've tried a number of times to find what they do by searching through the thread where i'm sure they are mentioned and explained, but its sooooo big now that its not gonna be easy to find and since they seem to be a standard addition to your api i would love to know how to use them. Thanks again for a great job so far
^1 this.. Can't make my mind about if this is better than the standard api. Only done two sessions with basic decks. Mage. 40-50 % win chance.. Atleast on the standard Im getting 70-80
update v112.4 - some tweaks with aoe-spells - some other bugs @Abazour you mean the difference between control and rush? control is focused more on board clear, while rush will ignore some opponent minions and focus more on attacking the enemy directly (i recommend control , but you have to try out what is working better for your specific deck)
Totally New here I am just trying to get this work. Followed the direction I had it on the drop down list but was getting all types of errors did it require a certain deck to be created? Secondly tried to get it to work again be installing etc now im getting this [Compiler Error] e:\Hearthbuddy 0.2.436.95\CustomDecks\Silverfish\silverfish_controlHB.cs(1122,46) : error CS0103: The name 'HRGameTag' does not exist in the current context [Compiler Error] e:\Hearthbuddy 0.2.436.95\CustomDecks\Silverfish\silverfish_rushHB.cs(1122,46) : error CS0103: The name 'HRGameTag' does not exist in the current context Loading database...
It doesn't seem to be working then. I've never seen the bot hold back in dropping minions for risk of an AOE spell
@obtkamer i mean the differences between control - controlFix - controlISP plz. The differences for rush are obvious that you go for hero damage first instead of minions. And i ask about it since they are standard additions to your every update of silverfish even though i'm not sure if you update them anymore lately. Thx again for all your work and dedication to this. NVM i just realized i've been just updating my custom folder without overwriting it as a whole so i have those (fix and ISP) files left over from an much earlier update. My bad sorry Plz ignore my earlier request.
@Botmaker, I really curious about the differences between Heathbuddy and Hearthcrawler(I never used). As you are a bot-maker, which framework do you prefer?
@xiewei20082008 i prefer non of them ;P (and i never used Hrtbuddy, cause i'm not allowed to use it (german users are blocked)). and the ai is exact the same for both.
@Botmaker why won't you develop your own framework. In my opinion, in terms of your programming skill, writing a framework with windows hook tech is a piece of cake for you.
It's alright-ish, but I've seen it do really retarded things (using it in control mode), namely : - Using a Truesilver on face rather than keeping it for a potential minion (when there wasn't a second one available in hand). - Using a Trusilver on a minion when using it on face would have meant a victory (6HP left on the enemy hero, Truesilver with 2 charges left, still lost the game). - Silencing and THEN polymorphing a minion. - Using the Acidic Swamp Ooze casually as a regular minion when the enemy has potential weapons left. - Using the last consecration to clear a 3/1 minion (first one almost wiped the board, enemy had only the said minion on the board with no cards in hand. The last remaining 3/1 wasn't a threat to my dominant board state). - Using two Power Blessings on an enemy minion for nothing (not part of any combo)
Keep them coming. Because people are not reporting including me. but i haven't been botting and i should be just to support hearthbuddy and botmaker. People " not saying you " just complain that they seen it do stupid shit and not saying what it does and what it should be doing to make it better. Unless botmaker is a Pro hearthstone player? I dont think he knows everything that he might be able to improve. Also We need to talk to Hankerspace about if he / or when he is going to add this feature to hearthbuddy. Unless it already works and it might because silverfish has this but hearthbuddy does not support it is i remember Botmaker -> He is one man working to help improve something we all have in common. -SD
View attachment UILogg_2014-09-23_23-19-21.txt Sorta wacky here. Used kirin tor mage with no secrets in hand instead of harvest golem (board was empty) Played a mad scientist, then undertaker, then a second mad scientist
@botmaker Thanks for the great AI! Doing well climbing the ladder with a basic card deck on fresh account. Currently at rank 10 which isn't too bad lacking a lot of the good cards. On my main account which is legend from manual play, it does poorly in both ranked and casual (though in casual I still play against other legends), but I wouldn't expect it to and I think any bot would have a hard time even getting to legend (especially at the start of the season) There are some misplays though that make certain cards a gamble or not worth playing because of how the ai uses them Warrior: Cruel Taskmaster - will sometimes buff a enemy's minion first turn (seems to be when you have an execute in hand aswell) Eg: First turn, warlock plays Flame Imp, warrior bot coins for Cruel taskmaster and hits the Flame imp that was once only 3/2 but now is 5/1. I guess it thinks it will be able to kill it with execute later, but the additional attacks to the face make this not good. Brawl: will use this card when only 2 enemy minions (of low value) are present and you have 1 on board. Feel like the value of on board face needs to be adjusted for Brawl to be utilized only when really needed. Really good use of Death Bite. Other things would be combos for Armorsmith, acolyte of pain behind taunts using whirlwind. It does this sometimes already, but I can't tell if it is intentional. I see ability to code for combos for decks, but havent seen an example of how to code it. Paladin: Holy Light: Sometimes will heal minion instead of face if it is going to die anyway Lay of Hands: I've never seen this used on face, even when you need it and are within range of being killed next turn. Priest: Powerword Shield/Divine Spirit: most of the time gives the extra health to a random minion regardless of having Lightspawn (this minions attack is equal to its health points) on hand for next turn. Neutral: Bloodmage Thanos: will coin for this first turn to put it on the board (without any spells to utilize it). Feel like this is a big waste for classes like shaman Faceless Manipulator: will copy low value cards most of the time. Say it plays a minion worth 3, it will play faceless after it and copy it. Needs to wait for minions of high value to be played. Alexstrasza: Will sometimes buff enemies health up. Ive seen it hit an enemy player at 5 health(with some armor) buffing the hp to 15. I don't know if the armor threw off the calculations off. Is there an example of a customized muligan/combo file I can take a look at? Sorry if I am overlooking anything obvious in your files. I am not a coder persay but would like to make them for my decks. Thanks again!
Hello gonna report what i saw playing arenas (building myself decks so i got it some cards are terrible to get there ) - Cruel Taskmaster : Just buffed an enemy hero for no reason (reducing 1 health is maybe worth to him but giving 2 damages instead is ridiculous) - Dire Wolf Alpha : not placed in between 2 heros just in the side of one. Mage : weak using of secrets. Edit : Just throw Iron Dwarf with no card on the board and give the +2 to an enemy champ.
