Wrath of Lich King $10, question about it.

Is there any other place beside the blizz store selling this? I would rather have the code instead of only having a limited time to to direct upgrade a ton of new accounts with all 3. I've checked gamestop and best buy but both just have the battle chest and vanilla on sale. Gamestop is charging tax but free shipping limit 2 of each per order but you can order a few times.

 

I know of the battlechest, but dunno about LK.

you can actually probably call them and buy keys from them -- they close like at 8pst. Call them and let us know

I was hoping they would offer the online upgrade that gives you the code like the vanilla does when you buy it from them . I wonder what they would say if I asked them if I could buy 50 lich king upgrades...Probably something like Sir are you located in China bc you sure had me fooled with your flawless english accent

 

you can gift it to yourself and they just send u they key

 

I noticed you can buy the retail version from blizz is that what you are talking about? However I went to check out and for 5 of everything the shipping is like 25$

 

I guess another fear I have is that if I am using my credit card for say 10 new accounts across 5 battle.net accounts will this in someway link them and make them easier to ban them all at once?

 

I don't think it will. I like to think that they won't say no to money regardless of where it comes from (excluding illegal sources).

 

There are plenty of reasons to want to buy 20+ keys, like gifting to a guild, massive multiboxing (there's at least 2 people boxing 36 toons... IMO just keep making trial accts with new email addresses, and pay for the upgrades with one time use papal credit cards.

Dont want to make a new topic so ill just ask here: If i buy the digital version of vanilla wow(only one available as digital), it links to my bnet accout straing away right? Also if i buy it does this open up the digital upgrade for tbc and after that lich king?

 

The difference between the vanilla digital code and the other "Direct Upgrade codes for Lich King and TBC" is that the vanilla puchase gives you an actual code before it is used. Therefore you can save it for later, the direct upgrades email you a code after it has already taken place(incase your account gets locked and they ask for the codes). This is the whole thing that makes me sad wish they all gave you the code before then I would buy like 50 of each

 

Ok cool thanks, yeah kinda annoying that you cant ''stock up'' on keys. Im really thinking about getting a few extra accs, but at the same time im not too sure if i want to invest now that cata is on the way and the market is at an alltime low and i have no idea how it will be in cata
