Patch 6.0.2 dropped today (in US)
As the whole Community has been anticipating, Patch 6.0.2 dropped during the maintenance window on 14-Oct-2014. Honorbuddy v2.5.11489.748 will not work with this new version of the WoWclient.

The changes are massive—probably the largest Bliz has ever released in a patch. You can read more about all this in their release notes:

If this is your first experience with Honorbuddy after a WoWclient patch, you can find more information about the situation here:
.

When will a new Honorbuddy be ready?
The Bossland GmbH development team has been working very hard in the test realms to accommodate all the needed changes. As always, our highest priority is to make certain that your WoWaccounts are not placed in jeopardy with new anti-botting measures.

Due to the massive changes in game play and mechanics, here is the process we will follow for this patch:
• Make certain that anti-botting measures are effectively countered in the new WoWclient
• Make certain that the HBcore and HB API has been adjusted to the huge set of changes introduced by the patch
(We've already identified several changes between today's release and the PTR beta.)
• Internal testing begins
At this point, we will make the internal version available to the Community Developers.
The developers will need to use the release to completely rewrite their offerings—combat routines will be hit the hardest.
• After sufficient internal testing is completed, an Honorbuddy Beta will be released to the Community for more testing
We will not wait for the Community Developers to be 'ready' before releasing a Beta. They can continue to work on their products while the Community tests the bot without their offerings.
Be aware that any BETA released to the Community WILL be buggy.
• A final release will be made when the Beta test completes
The Bossland GmbH development staff will keep you informed of progress updates in this thread. But, the thread will only be updated when appropriate (i.e., an internal milestone has been met).

About the forums...
All threads pertaining to "cannot attach" issues, the accelerated release of an update, "honorbuddy lite," complaints about the bot being down, and general trolling will be closed or deleted. If you wish to make comments, we suggest you use this thread:

FAQs
Will you be supporting a 64-bit version of Honorbuddy in this release?
No. WoD ships with a 32-bit WoWclient. We've had this discussion many times in the past, and the answer is "no, not until its absolutely needed". Here are two posts to get you started:
Will you be supporting Windows 10?
No. Windows 10 is not a released product at this time. The manufacturer doesn't even support it, yet. Support for Windows 10 will come after it becomes a released product. Some people have had success in using DX11 with Windows 10—but again, we cannot offer support for it at this time.
If you value your privacy, you may also want to think twice about loading the preview—it contains a built-in keylogger.

The process is going to take as long as it takes.
Please be patient while we get everything working again.
Thank you for your understanding.

cheers

14-Oct-2014 21:35 UTC: Bliz releases Build #19033
Yes, we are aware that Bliz updated the WoWclient twice in the same day. The developers have been working with the new build for the past several hours.

We expect this to continue for a bit. Despite their planning and execution, Bliz always has these types of issues. Fixes to the heavier-than-PTR load on the WoWserver sometimes require remedies on the WoWclient side.

Even after we make a build available to the Community, Bliz will continue to patch the WoWclient for the next several weeks. This will result in additional downtime, and is par for the course. Nothing to be done but to grin and bear it.

We are in the process of testing an internal build. Our expectations are that it will be available to the Community within the next 24 hours. But, please keep in mind that plans can change.

15-Oct-2014 22:45 UTC: Bliz releases Build #19034
Bliz has updated the WoWclient yet again. We will need to take time from testing to analyze the new drop, then proceed to testing again.

Our internal testing was proceeding as expected—many bugs are being discovered and addressed. Practically every aspect of the HB API is affected. The bug arrival and closure rate is going well, but at the moment, we can't say how much additional time will be needed.

Back to testing with Build #19034
We've got a new internal release for Build #19034. We've currently got eight bugs on our "hot list" that must be repaired before a Beta release can be considered. The Senior staff feels like these issues can be addressed, and a Beta release made within the next 12 hours.

Please understand what "Beta" quality means—we have found and repaired many bugs, but, we're certain there are plenty more left to find.

Also, all of the "1-5/12 starting zones" have been modified by the pre-WoD patch. Kick is actively working on the profiles to remedy that situation. That work may not be immediately available at the "Beta" drop.
