Hello, It seems that others had the same issue but I can't find a solution. "Everytime i try and run honor buddy it does not open. I click run as admin and nothing happens I have followed multiple tutorials on how to step up honor buddy and they are pretty much the same. My honor buddy doesn't even open to let me put my auth in. " I already did clean installing and re-installing of visual c++ and net. The wizard doesn't run neither. I'm using a Lenovo with Windows 8 64 bits with McAfee as av if this can be of any help. I checked on administration Tools on control pannel and I attached screenshots.
Download the latest version of honorbuddy. http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy Then do a clean install into a new folder. Do not reinstall over a previous installation or move items from the old installation into the new one. wow needs to be running in 32bit mode. to do this watch this video. it covers every possible way to get wow to start in 32 bit mode. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=St0xz-gf0zg after wow is started in 32bit mode, get fully logged in and in game, then start honorbuddy by right clicking "honorbuddy.exe" and clicking "Run as Administrator"
Thanks for the suggestions but I already tried again and again and I another time now just for checking but nothing happens. When wow is opened in 32 bits I run HB as an administrator but nothing happens. I attached pictures from administration Tools and Windows seems to recognize an error but I don't know how to solve it.
