it has been a long time since i started making profiles for honorbuddy, probably around 2-3 years ago. but I have found myself with a little free time and was wondering what profiles people would like to see made (dont say level 1-50 questing, i dont have THAT much free time) so let me hear it, and ill try my best to make a few profiles to fill a few gaps of what could be a great bot if a few more features were added.
I would personally love to see a healing combat profile that isn't just auto heal. ie another bot i know has a healing profile that heals whoever you target. ie target an ally and it will heal them when they fall below the specified heal percent etc etc.. Which would make it alot more better than the current magitek one due to it just auto healing since you need to heal certain people in end game content.
MoreDots can do that I believe, it's just development has slowed greatly with some of the devs working on other projects recently. I'd love to see some kind of crafting but the base has to be created by mastahg before any profiles can be made. Other than that, fully automating the daily quests like Kaga is working on would be nice.
Automated Dailies would be fine for me... and if no one is working on PvP Routines maybe is my second priority!
i would like to see a way to correctly deal with the Unspoiled nodes for gathering. Right now, there isn't a way to unlock the slot on the Unspoiled node first before using an ability. It would be nice to command it to strike the <slot> first, only once, revealing the resource. Then cast the abilities before collecting the rest of the resources. This would allow me to collect more resources like Crystals. Adding the ability to use stealth if something like a radar could tell me if I was too close to an aggressive mob, would be very useful. Also, it would be nice to change between Botanist and Mining to collect all the Unspoiled nodes, like in Mor Dohna.
I see Ixal dailies as a high priority, specifically the ones that give oaknots, since new crafting gear will require hundreds of them. Besides that, an unspoiled profile that can farm clusters well.
An auto stop timer, say i want to just set it for one hour after i go to bed and then stop so its not running all night long...
I think a lot of people will be working on routines for the new class. Other aspects of the bot have somewhat less support.
The reason I suggest the Ixal quests and unspoiled nodes in particular is that they have to be repeated many times, and there's no substitute. There's hundreds of levequests, and while you could focus on a subset, a full leve profile would be a huge amount of work. Plus, Fatebot is already a pretty good substitute for leveling. There's only around a dozen Ixal quests that give Oaknuts. There's no other way to get sealants, and a full crafting/gathering set requires over 600 Oaknuts. Similar logic applies to unspoiled mats; lots of things use them, can't get them other than by gathering.
Hundreds of leves? Sure. However, no one in the right mind would set it up like that. You only need to work 3-4 leves per level bracket then move onto to the next one.
