Hi, since HC died I`m currently trying out Hearthbuddy with the 3 day trial I still have some unanswered questions/things where I got confused 1) I`m using Silverfish (Rush) AI, works good so far. What about Custom.Mulligan? Should I use SilverfishMulligan or Triton.Bot.DefaultMulligan? Do I have to download/copy any files? 2) How on earth can I choose which deck the bot should use? I can`t figure out how to tell Hearthbuddy which deck to choose if I have - let`s say - 5 different custom decks in Hearthstone. Do I need to choose it manually, then fire up Hearthbuddy? Or do I need to start the first game with my chosen deck and then fire up Hearthbuddy? 3) Is there any way to speed up the bot since I just saw some turns where the bot couldn`t even finish it`s moves/attacks before time ran out? Also it`s way slower than HC was (almost 12min for a single game /w rush Warlock/Zoo deck which is way too slow). 4) Any chance you guys are pressured by Blizzard to end this service in the near future? I really don`t want to buy a second lifetime license which will last for one week Thanks a lot
1) You can choose whichever works for you, you shouldn't have to download or copy any extra files. I noticed the SilverfishMulligan just discards any cards that are above or equal to 4 mana. (I normally just stick with the SilverfishMulligan) 2) Before going into ranked or a casual game, you have a deck selection screen with your custom decks. You just highlight the deck you want the bot to use and it will use that. (Make sure the Random Deck setting is turned off, so it doesnt just select randomly) 3) I've never personally been bothered by the speed, but yes, the games take fairly long. 4) -
Yea, the games are longer, but I feel like the bot is more stable. If you are botting, as long as the bot finishes its turn, then why would it bother you?
It wouldn`t bother me if the bot would finish it`s turn in time, but from what I saw sometimes the time runs out before that
Some Basic Mage deck /w Silverfish-Rush just for portrait farming.. Maybe it was a coincidence, I don`t really watch the bot play
are you useing your computer while its runing? because something effects the bot. Either keyboard or mouse when you trying to do something.
Yes, I am using other programs while botting (nothing big though). Hearthstone runs in Fullscreen (since there are issues when running in windowed mode, I heard).
im running windowed mode , no issue at all except on warlock it sometimes fails to use the card and im using laptop to do something else all the time.
I`m having another issue, maybe it`s related to this whole fullscreen/windowed thing... If I have Hearthstone running in fullscreen (happens also in windowed I guess), if I switch to another task/program and switch back later I can`t use the mouse anymore. It`s no longer possible to go into the game options, concede, hover over cards (get card text displayed) and so on...
Botmaker (developer of Silverfish) takes bug requests as long as you post a log, I'd suggest sending them his way
When bot is running the usage of the window becames inactive , its there to prevent disturbance by the user while bot is running. If you stop the bot you can use your mouse and features ingame again.
It's actually odd. If I stop the bot, it doesn't allow me to do anything in game. I end up having to actually quit hearthstone, reconnect, and hope that I haven't been dc'd by the time I get back.
That's actually a good thing, it makes it so your red arrow doesn't get influenced by you moving the mouse on your screen while doing something else during the botting session.
That's true, but, where it's a bother is. Sometimes, randomly, I have to re-click on the hearthstone screen for the bot to play a certain card. It'll go turns stating the card position it wants to place it in, but, won't actually play it till I re-click back into the window. It's very strange.
u need to press stop on HB and you then go back to the game if you want to click around or you play yourself , its dead simple as that. If you still dont get it , then i guess you are bloody odd.
I have had this problem aswell. Only seen it 2 times tho. It's when the board is so full of cards + hand is almost full, so analyzing takes to long. Not that big of a problem for me tho.
