Paid account Now, obviously some of you are going to look at that "24/7" and say well of course you got banned. I know, I plan on this, it's just part of the game. I wouldn't even bother posting a ban report, but the bans have been coming much quicker than normal. Up until the recent patch, most of my accounts were running 24/7 for at LEAST two weeks, if not the entire free month. My previous batch of 10 bots only lasted a little over a week, while this batch lasted 4 days. The thing that gets me about this last ban is that there is absolutely nothing that could link them to any of my previous accounts, IPs, guilds, paypals, credit cards, even my pcs. I moved into a new apartment in a different city, so there is no way my IP is flagged. I just built a new botting PC and this is the very first batch I ran on it. All keys were bought from a private seller. This may be (and I'm hoping it is) a case of extremely bad luck, but considering everything there may be something going on. I have 5 new accounts going now, we'll see how long these last. You may have moved to a new city but i bet you didn't buy a new computer? This is what happens, my first ever lot of 15 accounts 5 x 3 dungeon teams almost lasted 30 days before being banned obviously botted 24/7 but who cares made profit after 3 days of botting, but what was funny and i never believed in Hardware ID flags and all that crap, but my next 5 man team got banned within 24 hrs they were lucky to be 40, this is when i was like wtf, got told to change my RAM sticks to different slots and change my Hard Drive, funny thing was i got a new SSD anyway. You wouldn't believe this, same place same IP but different Hardware ID and bag my 5 man team lasted almost as long as my first ever team, Moral of the story they DO Flag your Computer and your Hardware ID!!!
I keep hearing from people that a fresh WoW Install might work. Can't confirm this but you could give it a shot.
All 10 accounts unbanned. Definitely automatic bans going out, something is hitting us hard. Between myself and some friends we have lost over 100 accounts in the past week.
Can you share some experiences on how do you appeal? I just got banned today, and i was botting Botanica too, not 7/24 but sometimes 1x hours in one day. I have one account only, and have been using hb for three years, and never participate in any gold selling. My gold are for casual use only because I am too lazy to do dailies. I started a support ticket 12 hours ago but no reply yet. Should I never admit that I was using bot, and claim that I was on holiday recently that's why I played so much(because I just started playing WoW again 3 weeks ago)?
Botanica is a hotspot for bans. Never admit to botting, play it dumb and if it's your first time to get banned you'll probably get it reduced to 72 hours.
