Hi guys, i used some of the HB products in the past, now i bought bot for Hearthstone. All is working fine and i'm using Silverfish AI. Question is: is worth to play Arena with the bot? How i can setup bot for play it? I saw there is a file (arenavalue or something), and in the bot i see only Casual and Ranked games, someone can explain me how to setup and what to download for play Arena with HearthBuddy? Thanks
People says that bot arena averages in 3.5 wins. So it's worth it. Problem with arena is that HB sometime crashes, HS sometime DC's, and when that happens you are guaranteed a lose on arena. Assume everything going smooth, bot is good for arena.......... To use it, just check the "auto arena" box in the bot menu.
Thanks mate, i tought that box was usefull only for auto-buying Arena ticket Yeah i noticed that sometimes bot crash: first time i used it, bot crashed like every 4 games, so boring. Now i did some tweaks and bot is running without problems for more than 30 hours If for you keep crashing let me know and i will write here what i did
No problem I did these steps: 1) I uninstalled everything related to .net Framework (2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 4.5 etc, i uninstalled EVERYTHING) 2) Uninstalled everything related to Visual Basic (2008, 2010, 2012 etc) 3) Reboot 4) Download and run this as Administrator: https://www.thebuddyforum.com/BuddyWizard.exe 5) Reboot again After these steps, you should have installed ONLY .net Framework 4.5.1 and VB 2012. Now let windows updates run and install all updates, reboot and run again WU until you don't have ANY updates to do. Now (i use a VMWare Virtual Machine) set your display resolution to 1400 x 1050, and run HearthStone in Windowed mode (NOT Fullscreen) with a resolution of 1280 x 960. All these tips i found in different threads about HB Crashes, my bot was crashing aswell every 4-5 games (HB stop to work and sometimes i got disconnected from Hearthstone service too) and now he run without stop Sorry for my bad English EDIT: i forgot to say that i put both battle.net logger and hearthstone in english, in case for some crash caused for language problem (i'm italian). You can change battle.net language from options, and for Hearthstone you can change language by reading this thread: How to change the language settings - Forums - Hearthstone
I got 10 wins on arena with the bot. The only thing you need to pay attention is how it select cards. You don't want to end up with 4-5 cards of the same type.
Played max 10 arenas, max run was with 6 wins using warrior. Lowest with a druid with only 2 and he picked very bad cards.
