Doesnt seem like I made THAT much gold compared to some I see around here...

Lots of MoP gathering profiles getting accounts banned. I'm nearly certain these are reported by players.
Yea I was banned in the same hour, had been using the same profiles. I'm not sure if it's MoP gathering, gatherbuddy, or the profiles that are the problem. I made about 5k/day vigorously selling everything, claiming probably a inhuman chunk of the market. I have no idea how others claim to be making more gold per month without being so obvious. I guess bot farming a mount drop in a dungeon or something could be a quick 50-100k, but dungeon farming is apparently even more risky than gathering. I'm not sure what people sell their gold for, but for example if $1/1,000g, you've "made" $100, so somewhat of a profit probably. People who claim to do it for a living are probably running 10+ accounts tho.
well buddy, if you dont want to be abvious on AH, you should probably make lots of low level chars and sell on all off them. ofcourse people will ask how the hell you got 50x20 stacks of Ghost iron ore just like that, but if you split it up on lots of characters the risk is much lower ofcourse, and 1k gold is about 4-5$
Got banned yesterday using that exact profile botting 6hours with a 2 hours break twice. Aka. 12 hours gathering and 4 hours break.
Was it the "Abuse of the Economy" reason? I imagine players reported you for stomping on their AH turf in the hopes you are a bot, and when Blizzard investigated they probably found you making "bot-like-movements" and banned. Appeal it and they will probably drop it to 72 Hour.
