Just curious to see how many people are already 100? Due to the nasty combination of 6k+ queues, DCs and World Servers going down, I'm unfortunately still level 91. I have several friends who have already hit 100 though.
I'm 99.5 on my main account, botted 90-92 using Kick's and then chose the wrong branches of garrisons in the next 2 zones so had to everything manually since then. I'm on a very highly populated server, too, so my queue times have been terrible. What I did do before the expansion though was level several characters to 90 on low pop servers and I log them in so I get xrealm'ed to the low pop server to do questing. This has enabled me to level much much quicker and has saved me a lot of headaches. I have 3 other accounts with characters I botted to 92 on low pop servers, so I can randomly choose a server that seems to be working best or least crowded. If you have a secondary account with characters on low pop servers, I suggest doing the same. You'll find your leveling experience will be much better. But then again, hopefully the maintenance Blizz is doing right now simply fixes all the lag issues and this won't be needed any more.
That's actually a great idea! However, on the 90s that I am not actively leveling on (and using just to xrealm my main), does it still work if I'm higher than the 90? I don't know if Blizz changed that, but it might be worth a shot. And grats on your almost 100!
sat in queues yesterday after class (when i bought WoD) at 9am CST till 10pm CST finally got on, and then servers went down again around 2. Almost 92...
6k que to the blue bar boss...to DC...to 3k que...I was able dungeon grinded to 95 tho, the lag in the new area was very painful
Yes, it works across zones, and if the other character is higher level. I specifically leave my level 92's sitting in their garrison, so they aren't visible to anyone and I remain on the low pop servers at all times.
wow 13 hour queue........love my med pop got 2 toons up to gorgron choke point where quest giver of major quest line isn't around.......waiting for blizz to fix bofore I move on
i tried to phase to low pop. But my main is 91 while my other character is 90. No matter how i invite with 90 being the leader on the pop realm, my main will stay on high pop. Blizzard just sucks balls. No playing and no botting and its weekend yay.
Being on a high pop server I haven`t been able to go past garrison quest. Right now I have some 400 minutes wait to get logged on - 3000 ahead of me in line. Great!
