Low FPS - when HonorBuddy is running

I did some searching but didn't see anything on this so posting here. I have used HonorBuddy in the past but took a sabbatical from WOW for a while and coming back WOW FPS is really low when honorbuddy is running. At its best its 100 but it will drop to 9 and hover around 10-20. Wow runs fine high fps without honorbuddy. Even if honorbuddy is on but turned off it runs fine.

I have 32GB of G.Skill sniper so it's not a lack of ram. I can run any game on ultimate settings with no lag.

Any ideas? I have cleared HB cache and even WOW cache. Restarted everything, set wow to lowest graphics and settings and still no difference. I am running win 7 64bit btw.

try changing wow to dx9 mode mode. you can do this from your wow graphic settings.

 

That helped but only slightly. Im perplexed

 

if your still having issues, i need a new log and a description of the issue.

 

Attaching a new log. No addons are on. When wow is open HB is open but not running I can play no issue. As soon as I click 'start' it bogs down and FPS drop to nothing.

 

grab the latest beta from here, and do a clean install into a new folder.

see if it helps, but its going to dip, if the bot is just questing unless its not completing objectives it shouldnt be anything to worry about. the bot is not like a human, the bot is still getting the data it needs to make decisions and perform actions regardless if the framerate dips.

It's not that the framerate just dips, it effects the bots ability to work correctly so that I end up dieing much more often because the low FPS causes bot to respond slower.

 

im not sure what to tell you, theres nothing the bot is doing and nothing that i can tell you to enable or disable thats going to effect it. check your wow graphic settings and try turning off the frame rate limiting. also if your graphic settings are turned up to ultra turn them down. see if that might help.

 

I play wow with graphics on ultra when I am not botting. While botting I have them set at lowest.

So my question is this I guess. How does Wow run with HB for the rest of you? Does nobody else experience this?

 

yes, ive have had framerate dips when questing. but its a bot after a while after it was done doing whatever it needed to the fps came back up and it was fine.

when theres a lot of numbers to chew though, such as mobs or other checks, it takes longer to run though the logic and therefore longer the the frame is being held in order for honorbuddy to inject data to and from wow.
