Is there a way to add prismatic crystal to a hotkey or only on boss because its kind of annoying when the CR use it in the last trash before a boss an its on cd in the fight. And what about support for water Jet. Thanks a lot!

Doesn't break/change the rotation. Obviously the rotations still require tuning though - we're only a few days into the expac

Prismatic Crystal will be controlled via the cooldown hotkey in the next build. Adding WJ too.

@all : didn´t played very often with this cc and crystal. But when i tested it yesterday, the cc switcht to the crystal an after 10 seconds its disappeared. But the cc didnt target the last target. Could auto target "turned off" be my problem? Do you play with auto target in pve?

 

Yeah I've already caught the targeting one. Here's the change list. Will push it tonight after I've done an instance or 2 to test it. I use auto targeting in PvE most of the time.

- Fixed a lot of boss ID's so that the routine correctly identifies units as being bosses.
- 'Walter' the engineering butler is now ignored.
- Will no longer cast Arcane Explosion/Cone of Cold on Prismatic Crystal.
- [Arcane] Will no longer cast Rune of Power with PoM.
- Added hotkey for Prismatic Crystal on mouse over.
- Added setting to allow disabling Prismatic Crystal.
- Prismatic Crystal is now always accepted as a good target by the targeting logic.
- Prismatic Crystal is now under cooldown control, and can be toggled on/off using the cooldown hotkey.
- [Frost] Added support for Water Jet.
- [Frost] Added >= 2 units setting to Pet Freeze.
- Will no longer spam cast DoTs on Prismatic Crystal.
- TTD logging now shows the TTD on the unit we're casting, rather than our target.
- [Fire] Added spread Living Bomb with Inferno Blast.

Did you added in the crystal "logic" , that the cc is only using crystal, when its ready AND atleast the pet spells are ready too ( for proccs ) OR you are lucky and got all proccs AND frozen orb is rdy?
it´s really important, that frozen orb hits the crystal. Maybe its even better , when you only cast frozen orb, when crystal is rdy.
All that together is a huge DPS burst and push

 

Not yet. It's just using it on cool down at the moment. Ideally you want frozen orb to cast, and then cast Prismatic Crystal afterwards, so that Frozen Orb is nearly at the target when PC is placed.

I'll look into that next though (adding an option to use with Frozen Orb or on Cooldown), there's a lot of changes gone into this build - rather do 1 step at a time.

did you tried a different botbase ?
i use for example Enyo and i have no problems.

Maybe its because the raidbot botbase you are using.

 

Yeah but that's the thing, we're not supposed to give up on fire. Millz' routines have always been great, but currently fire is simply underperforming.
I am being outDPSed by 2 other fire mages, and I can even do more DPS manually than I do with the bot, and I have tried many settings and reinstalled many times. Giving up on a spec you like should not be the way to go imho.

I hope fire receives a little more attention soon.

 

I really love fire, but at this moment, Blizzard prefer Frots how best spec for first raid.

You've opened the bot as arcane spec, then switched to frost spec. After you change spec you need to reload the bot.

 

Even so, that does not change the fact that I am being outDpsed by other FIRE mages.

 

We're only 6 days into the expansion, it's not going to be perfect straight away. That being said, there's all of the usual culprits still at play (bad RNG, poor fight movement/targeting, lower gear levels, different stat build). As I've said, the living bomb -> inferno blast change will be in the next build, but if you spot anything obvious that's wrong or not working correctly feel free to point it out. Posting log files always help too - it often flags stuff in them that you may not have noticed.

Damn <3 huge love... were just about to QQ about that and then i see you have it ready for us really love the rutine this expa. so fare. Making me slack like hell in HC grps while i still top dps in 90% of them.
