Botting a shadow priest, horrific

I leveled a priest in boosted greens, by hand when wod released. It was pretty aids but it was okay overall - atleast compared to priest leveling of the past.

I am now trying to bot a priest on the alliance profile for wod. There are no routines, so Im using singular and Ive tried modifying it in every way possible but it is simply horrific.

It multidots everything, it rarely uses devouring plague, it never uses shadowfiend, it uses pom at like 90% hp regardless of what hp it's set to, it doesnt mind spike.

Anyone else having issues with shadow priest singular or am I overlooking something? This seems like an atrocity so far.

 

Yes singular is shocking for shadow priest. Not that I like playing Shadowpriest much, but I had to play mine by had to get to L91 and get my garrison up and running.

Been using honorbuddy since it came out. I plan not to continue if paid "support" becomes the only realistic way to use it.

 

they offer you a basic, if basic isnt good enough (which it usually isnt) then paid is the way forward. If you dont wanna pay, then you best get playing by hand.

 

It's hardly optimal but it works, if you want it to go faster when questing try changing pull more to "always" with 3-5 enemies.

 

Only one for shadow and its not for PvE.


I've been experiencing the same thing. Singular for Spriest needs an update really badly. Biggest problem is the insistence on casting Prayer of Mending while solo. It used to be instant and usable in shadow. Now its neither.

 

There are plenty of alternative bots, Im not here to bitch or complain - I was simply replying to someone else. If HB thinks creating a store where youre required to pay to get the same results as we used to get free - I think they've strongly overestimated their position. That's all, but thx to the others for the replies, when I set pull more to never the bot will actually just mind spike burst mobs down, still havent found a way to fix the rest of the tragic activity though.

 

Millz Shadow Priest is definitely for PvE, and pulls some pretty spectacular DPS.

It's an unfortunate part of the scene, but if you want to do well in PvE/PvP content using HB you've gotta pay extra for a routine...no way around it.

So you paid $30 for about 6 years of a product with support, and you're now unhappy with them not having everything working in two weeks, when they also have huge legal issues to deal with?

All of what you inferred from my statement was a failure.

 

1. You paid a tiny price for it two years ago, I'd say you've got your money's worth so far.
2. At NO POINT in Honorbuddy's sales pitch (Honorbuddy the Bot for World of Warcraft) does it say that you will be provided with a fantastic combat class. In fact, it doesn't mention combat classes at all. The stock one you are given is just fine for the most basic of botting and as long as you're killing an enemy, it's a bonus.

I read perfectly fine, which is why I said that it's unfortunate - but you have to pay extra if you want to pull DPS. It's not a requirement for HB to publish a highly polished routine for you.

 

Ahh. I understand the confusion. I thought you were telling me that Millz routine was an option for me if I wanted a free routine.

And definitely not a requirement for Honorbuddy to ship with a highly polished routine, and in fact I'm sure that eventually the devs will get around to fixing singular. New xpac and everything, other things have been much more pressing. That being said I'm sure we both can agree if they were to watch the current Singular spriest in action they would not be even nearly satisfied with it. It's too bad I know so little about code, because a huge and instant help would be to remove Prayer of Mending from a solo Spriest routine.

 

The thread turned into a couple donkeys just spouting this rage about complaints on the forums. This thread wasn't made to complain. Or request anything be done. You cunts derailed it.

Honorbuddy comes with singular
Singular is atrocious for shadow priest, absolutely terrible
Singular works well for 10 other classes

Its true, Singular is really bad with shadow.
Im leveling with kingwow and disc. Takes longer but there is 0 risk to die.

 

You're right, you demanded something be done, you didn't request it.

The second you said you expect a working spriest routine or you quit, you made a demand.

I'm sorry you don't see that, but it's a fact.

Enjoy whatever bot you find, I don't think HB is the right place for you.
