      Hey guys,

I'm out of town trying to use RB on my laptop (works great on my desktop), but every time I try to start it, it never actually starts. I don't get an error or anything.

I have tried fresh install/downloads. I made sure it is running as admin. I also tested it by not having ff14 open yet, and it did give me the "you must have ff14 to attach..blah blah" error message, so it's at least partially working?

I also checked to make sure that my license key was still good and it is.

      I'm stumped. Help please!

Does it create a log you can attach? Did you install the requirements?

No log created that I can find. All the requirements are installed.

      No AV installed. :(

EDIT: just re-installed all the pre-reqs (.net and the others), still no luck.

It might not help, but did you try run the buddywizard.exe (as admin) and let it install the pre-requisites? Added the bot to firewall exception? Sorry if it doesn't help. I run windows 7 ultimate 64 bit without an issue.

did you manually re-install or use the wizard? If you see the progress bar doing anything when you run the wizard then it isn't installed. They need to immediately fill up and go to check marks.

      I can't think of anything else :S

You should have an av btw >_> I recommend avast

I did a manual re-install. The wizard immediately goes to the check marks. It's so weird. Like something is automatically closing it before it gets going, but I've looked through all the processes and can't find anything that would cause that.

I put security essentials on last night. I used to remove viruses and junk for a living so I'm not too worried about it.
