my previous account banned cos I gather 24/7 and put on AH made almost a million gold and then BAN! i got new account under the same battle.net still bot like crazy but NEVER touch the AH just grind enough mats for my 22x lv90. been a year never got any problem. but right now I found gathering/grinding is very slow and the NPH is so bad that i'd better off buy from AH cos price of ore are like 50s to 1g. it would be faster for me just run a pickpocket. or simply do all the quests. i would make more gold that way and just buy those mats from AH, do u think that's 'negative effect to game economy' ?
If i look to the design of wod they made it alot harder for quest and gatherbots if u compare wod to outland for instance outland is just a flat ground but wod has alot of mountains and grounds above grounds.
yes but, bliz has announced on next major patch 6.1 will be flying. that's gonna increase the NPH by heaps, but base how just how hard it is to bot now(im getting under 20 NPH). the mats are still damn cheap maybe cos everyone can dig it from their own garrison? I mean I got lv 3 herb garden with follower it's 60+ of the herb I want in less than a minute. I don't go mining cos mining takes much longer as u walk down the mine, herb garden is all in 1 place. but still ores are cheap. if u think this way... my lv 3 herb garden gets 50-60 herbs per day... and because of the daily limit on work orders and ur crafting. ur level 3 mine/herb in ur garrison will almost always provide more mats that u can use. that's probably why mats are so cheap. but I still buy ores from AH as walking down the mine takes too much effort. it's now almost pointless to bot for gold I found. and bliz is working its way to make gold not the hardest thing to get in game so destroys gold selling business. my old banned account had about a million gold, right now im sitting on 5-7k gold on each toon. 11 toons on a server and all those gold came from questing, and I don't find I need more gold...
IDK where u get that from that mats dosnt sell very good ? in 4 nights i have made more than 80k for selling raw beast hide - not selling them all on my bot char but shuffle them on to my mule and alts etc. 1 hide went for 15-16g up until a week after xpac hit. (Well 2 nights of about 7 hrs and 2 days about 7 hrs) Last night i ran the last bot for raw beast hide. the prices is Down to about4-6 depending on day time/day etc etc. So now i will have to look the AH for new areas to farm - basically adapt my farm according to AH demands. But, I just started to use HB 3 weeks ago, havent botted since the GLIDER was da bomb many years ago - which I guess makes me an newbie
