[H] [Spires of Arak] Reputation - Arakkoa Outcasts (Lost Veil Anzu)

Hi all,

another small farm profile

This time it's all about "Arakkoa Outcasts" reputation grinding.



Features in a nutshell:

- Grinds all Mobs in Lost Veil Anzu (all mobs give 5 rep). Grinding is the only way to raise "Arakkoa Outcasts" to exalted :/
- Running this profile will give you something between 3-4k Arrakoa Outcasts reputation per hour (Singular high pull rate > 2-3, risky, needs good gear) or something around 2k+ (Singular low/mediocre pull rate > 1-2, still tough sometimes)
- Vendor and Mailbox included (Horde > Pinchwhistle Gearworks)
- Afk-able (but not recommended)

Notes:

- Melee classes maybe should remove the "86144" ID from <MobIDs> (Amorphic Cognitor) in the XML. Just test if it works for you. Classes with good AOE can ignore this. (only for v0.1, in v0.2 this entry has been removed by default).
- Respawn rate in this area is insanly high (perma grind!)
- Min. lvl 100 (Bring some extra DPS > Bodyguard) you won't regret it! (Vivianne is a good choice!)
- Have decent gear (min. 615) as you will fight against multiple mobs nearly all the time, without big breaks between the pulls. I warned you...it's getting tough there.
- If you are using "Singular", maybe set your "Pull More Count" to 1 or 2 if it's too hardcore for you! I really recommend using TuanHA or smth similar!
- If you're lucky random BOE epics might drop (i looted a "Ransacker's Ring of Plunder" > Ransacker's Ring of Plunder - Item - World of Warcraft)
- Even with this profile and if you have quested the whole area, it takes about ~5.2k+ Mobs to kill to get you to exalted. (roughly 26k reputation). So, have patience

How to use:

1) Move your toon to somewhat around (73,50) > Lost Veil Anzu entrance (see pic) or just start anywhere on the Spires of Arak map
2) Use Grind Bot
3) Hit Start

Updated version 0.2:

- Added avoid entry for Echidnaean Monitor (Caused trouble when char was moving to Vendor)
- Removed ID 86144 (Amorphic Cognitor) from <MobID> so Bot will no longer pull them which caused trouble when already fighting multiple Mobs. This hopefully also fixes the issue with the "evading" mobs.
(If you want to intentionally pull them again, just add "86144" to the <MobID> area again)
- Set pull distance down to 40 (down from 55 > silly)

 

Works great minus one small thing, well medium thing lol. On top of the mushrooms there are those tiny mobs and it's targetting them and ends up dying to them. Close to where the mechanical rare spawns. Any fixes for that?

EDIT: I seem to have fixed it by diasbling taunting. Heads up to anyone with a distance taunt, it will taunt those guys and leave you dead lol. All good now, great profile!

not 100% sure which ones you mean.

Are those the same ones which run around in small groups of 5? Never had problems with them on my Shaman (Elemental). Sometimes they're "evading" when the bot targets the ones on the shrooms, but HB then just ignores them and continues or attacks them right away when no longer evading ( which happens sometimes, looks like they are a little bit bugged ).

Another fix could be by deleting the "86144" ID from <MobIDs> (which stands for the Amorphic Cognitor) so the bot won't pull them anymore and will only attack them if they aggro first.

Ahh nice idea as well! I seem to still be having the issue, but I will try deleting the id, thank you for that! Almost exalted lol!

 

Tried it with my alliance char....worked great! Got exalted in about 12h....startet with honored (11k)

Thanks for the profile, it's working great for me averaging about 1800 rep/hour... no deaths, no getting stuck
630 prot warrior loot mobs OFF
Deleted the 86144 mob ID and made the "Pull More" settings in Singular a little more conservative
lvl95 bodyguard (Aeda Brightdawn) only lasts 45-60 mins before getting killed, but gains 3000 rep during that time.
Even handles the rare elite (Glutinous Giant) in the area without dying.

 

Aeda is a nightmare to bot with tbh. Yes she has nice AoE dmg, but she also aggro's the whole pack :/

 

Doesn't work for me. The bot just stands there doing nothing.

Edit 1: it spamms following line when something nearby attacks me: [Singular] Switching to BotPoi: Befuddled Relic-Seeker.2FDD! and does nothing else but auto when it enters combat.

Edit 2: seems like singular is missbehaving. I updated it to the latest version, now it runs from mob to mob but only in combat, and it wont use any abilities, just auto-attack.

Is no1 else having these issues?

 

Mh, strange. Looks like its really an issue of the Combat Routine. Have you tried any others...like the free versions of TuanHA? They work even better

 

I'll try it out. I guess the latest honorbuddy messed things up. Last week I used it to farm rep with Frostwolf clan. Cheers mate.

Edit: HOLY MOLEY! IT LIVES! You totally made my... uh... night. For others having this issue, getting TuanHA (free v.) works. Also, this is a nice profile, will post later with results or if anything screws up.

 

This works on my aliance toon aswell, better than the other neutral profile actually.

the only problem with it apart from the evading mobs is the fact it seems to one big group and often dies. The bot faces its back when on multiple targets and theres just too many that aggro to defeat at the same time (even with decent gear). Any way this group can be avoided? Or something put in to stop mobs from hitting you in the back when there is more than one?

 

Any reason this profile is designated as a horde profile? Would it not work on alliance?

 

Ok, I have ran this profile for a couple of days now. For the most of the time, it works just fine. Although, sometimes if no1 else is farming you can occasially run into alot of mobs and die. However, I haven't gotten stuck, and when I get killed by another player, the bot just runs back to ressurect and continue farming. One note is that there are many players farming there (atleast on my server), so I would not recommend to completely AFK. Cheers for the awesome profile!

 

So the profile seems to work fine for alliance. My only suggestion is to blacklist Echidnaean Monitors that it runs through after repairing. Their sinkhole ability gets my bot killed quite often.

all right.. lets see:

@bsod: I think you're talking about the group of 5 small mobs: "Amorphic Cognitor". They can be tricky when already fighting other mobs when you aggro them. Solution 1: If you're using "Singular" as Combat Routine, set the "Pull more" count down to 1. Solution 2: Open the XML and remove the ID "86144" from the MobID area, this causes the profile to NOT pull those groups on intention, but will still attack them if they aggro first.

Worked 100% flawlessly as survival Hunter using Tuanha Hunter Profile.

Got exalted and also found a nice BOE epic world drop Crit/Spirit Ring Ilvl 665 In my bags

 

This profile was working beautifully for me until it looks like they added rares in the area. It looks like they added rare gluttonous giants which drop aoe mushrooms that the combat routine and bot doesn't recognize to get out of. Anyone had this issue?
