Hack/Fix for Timber Farming

I am obviously not the author, nor am I even a C# programmer, however I was able to hack the errors out of the RareKiller BETA so it compiles:

Place this file into the plugins/RareKiller directory (backup and overwrite the existing file)
View attachment Rarekiller.cs

Place this file into the plugins/RareKiller/MyClasses directory (backup and overwrite the existing file)
View attachment RarekillerKiller.cs

And reminder turn off framelock (or Honorbuddy craps the bed and crashes WoW -- yeah I forgot hahaha)

In previous posts as well (copied and modified slightly) you want to add the following lines to your plugins/RareKiller/config/CollectObjects.xml

<Object Entry="234110" Name="Small Timber" />
<Object Entry="234122" Name="Small Timber" />
<Object Entry="234193" Name="Small Timber" />
<Object Entry="234100" Name="Small Timber" />
<Object Entry="234194" Name="Timber" />
<Object Entry="234123" Name="Timber" />

(I don't know yet if there are any other entries that need to be added for small timber or timber, those are just the few that I found so far, and of course if you have a level 3 lumber mill then you want to add the entries for Large Timber)

Hope this helps those who are feeling a bit lost without RareKiller (and there may be other residual problems from the pieces I commented out of the code to hack the fix), but it seems to work great for farming timber now at least.. Happy farming!

 

Quick follow up, I seem to be having a bit of trouble with my CC not kicking in (on occasion / maybe when a tree is found ... going to keep an eye on this and also try to determine if it is a CC issue or plugin issue. I am currently using TuanHA's special edition CC's.

Let me know if you encounter the same problem.

 

Further follow up, I did in fact test this hack with Singular and is working great, so my TuanHA CC is acting odd, will have to investigate that problem further.

 

I got the files in my file in the zip folder, but when I start HB and want to select it in plugins: Rarekille is not there. Outdated? :S

 

Read my post 3 posts up from yours, it has the hack to get Rarekiller working (requires installation of the Rarekiller 4 BETA version)

Have done everything and still "RareKiller" plugin does not appear in the plugin list :c

 

Code is very out dated. Requires a lot of changes to update

Where do you get the Rarekiller 4 BETA file from? I couldn't find it through searching the forums. Also, will it work for camping rares such as Poundfist?

 

It is available on page 1... It is not anything new so dont expect anything... It does not solve the issue of using this plugin with gatherbuddy....

Ok, it is working for me. What i did to make it working: i've downloaded the clean version of Honorbuddy, and BETA version of Rarekiller from the 1st page, not the 4.10 versian, 4.11 BETA that is. then i unziped it to the Honorbuddy plugin folder and downloaded two files from netlynx post. So the plugin is working.

But another problem, when i want to afk camping poundfist, i'm choosing the EmptryProfile and honorbuddy said that:

i've change Gatherybuddy2 to GrindBot and its working with Emptyprofile!!! OMG PWNDFIST i'm going for ya!

yes it prevent you from going away and dc. it just don't autopressing READYCHECK, cuz this readycheck plug is not working anymore
