you should not have to purchase additional features to get baseline functions. this coming from a person that has purchased some of Millz routines and all of Tuanhas, those offer more customization, what people are asking of BG bot is for rudimentary function. IT IS PURE SHIT AND UNUSABLE.
I definitely think bgbuddy needs an update, but to say it is pure shit and unusable is simply not true. I have farmed more than 50k honor with it. It definitely isn't perfect and frankly neither is bgfarmer, but it is certainly usable.
These guys and this community do great work. I dont think people should be attacked for giving their opinion. But I do think that anger isnt a good idea either. It is obvious that new paths have to be developed by HB so lets not even try to debate that. 5 random profiles for each BG map should not be a big deal.....especially when somehow people make questing profiles that make a character go from 1 - 90 with no problems. How hard could it be for these guys to add 2-3 pathing profiles per bg map. But right now I think the priority is the questing amd WOD crap that must be overwhelming them I always liek to say thanks to the community and the developers for all your great work! Sam
1 click bots usually require a monthly fee. Most of us paid HB the day it went out. If you want to enjoy new features, put ~10$/month in the store. Dont forget that Honorbuddy is now a profit company. They will take similar choices as other game/software company such as micro transaction (the store), diversifying income (more and more non-working bots are developed) and they count on the already built community to bring more users and increase income asap. Dont want to contribute to the scheme? Build your own plugins and share them for FREE!
We didn't choose the business model. something was advertised at a price and we purchased it at said price, very simple. we have kept our end of the bargain. heck I would pay them 10 dollars more for them to devote some time to BG bot, but i am not paying almost as much as the original bot for something that the bot should be doing to begin with. and once again, i am not knocking the business model, i simply do not use BG bot since I play my account and it matters to me whether it gets banned or not. if you care about the account, BG bot is unusable.
ye I see your point here. Sometimes I feel the same about updates quality. It's why I dont buy shit from the store. How long will the developer be around? If he has 15+ plugins, how support will be? I also dont want to feed this bad system. Now I sadly have to hotfix everything I use.
with all that said, HB has is the only reason I still play wow, i allows me to play multiple classes that i have no idea how to play, it is great for Alt leveling and all that comes along with that. it is a great product and so are a lot of the plug-ins and additional paid services. I am simply calling it like it is. for me personally BG bot is never used.
You should think of HB as a framework and the bots supplied with it are demos or extensions of that framework. No demo is going to be as good as a fill paid product. Go buy millz bgfarmer, that bot is very well done.
All I gotta say to this is.... lol. If your that unhappy with it. It takes months of codeing... Go do it yourself.
Honorbuddy is an amazing application. Aside from being an awesome application it is also EXTREMELY cheap. You get honorbuddy for life for what, $30? I bought all of my licenses a long time ago. You get constant patches and updates for that. Anyone complaining about the Battleground botbase at what they have paid for this product should be taken out back and beat with a rubber hose. BGbuddy is an exceptional product. My second point is this, if you were the only person in the battleground running BGbuddy then it wouldn't be a big deal. The biggest problem with any bot is when there are multiple people using it at the same time. Bots do not have an infinite number of possibilities like a real player does. Bots will end up running in packs and performing actions together. This is what makes the bots stand out. They have added some randomness over the years, but once you have a large number of botters in a single battleground the bots will stand out. The only problem with BGbuddy is that botting has become too easy. Most of the people that use these bots couldn't write their own profile let alone a botbase or plugin. Because it took you nothing to attain you don't respect it. I've been macroing/botting games since the late 90s, and the ease of access to these tools have allowed people into the club that don't know what they are doing. It is commonplace for people to bot 24/7, bot in crowded areas, bot afk when grouping with other players, and other completely idiotic things that will usually lead to a ban. Don't complain that something you paid so little for is not the most perfect thing in the world. As others have pointed out there are better alternatives that you have to pay for.
Sorry - but lifetime means lifetime - not X years then you need to pay for it to work remotely ok and safe from extreme amounts of reports. And to the "respect" everyone should have - do we need respect to use a phone we bought and expect to work set amount of time since we paid for it and it said "2 years warranty"? Do you respect your microwave? I mean would you be happy if every year you had to buy something for it to work on patched microwavepopcorn - when it said it would last your entire life? Obviously I understand that programmers want to get paid for something they create. The thing is.. Honorbuddy did get paid on the promise it would have a lifetime duration - and yes it "works" but lets be honest..
This isn't an excuse. If they're a victim of their own success, then they can afford to give some love to a woefully neglected botbase, that helped them get successful in the first place. Providing bgbuddy as it is, says they care nothing about the safety of our accounts. Yet updating tripwire for warden indicates they do care for our accounts. It is completely illogical to do both simultaneously. It really isn't that hard. If they want to decommission bgbuddy, fine. Just give us some fucking source to work with.
You are the one being dishonest with yourself. IT WORKS, as you stated. It has been improved many times, and it is much better than the initial product that was released. The drivel that you are spewing is asinine. Dumb analogies that have no correlation to the topic at hand do not help to get your point across. You bought the cheapest most basic piece of shit you possibly could and you are complaining that it doesn't function up to your standards. Are you the person that buys the cheapest car on the lot and goes back to complain that it doesn't have all of the features of the top of the line model you couldn't afford? The bot functions, and it functions amazingly well. If you want something better then look into buying something better.
You do not comprehend the issue. There are too many people using the same program. It is almost impossible to program it in a manner that the bots will not perform the same actions. If there are 10 people in a BG running the same program then they will stand out. That is not an issue with the program.
Bullshit. Off the top of my head - 1) You can get a count for the number of players in an area (or in the zerg), and if it is higher than X then go elsewhere. 2) You can weight objectives higher than "the largest group" 3) You can have randomised starting objective to avoid the initial conga line. Over the course of a long bg or under gy camping situations, they'll probably coalesce, but it is still a thousand times better than all doing exactly the same thing from the very start. I'm sure there are far more creative developers out there that could find even better solutions if they had access to the source.
To the Op:You see most of the people looking for "Free" bots, free addons, plugins, scripts to help them while playing them, hell yeah even they are looking for hacks. When they achieve that, no matter what they do, they know the consequences about the product they are using.HonorBuddy is fairly cheap and it's easy to use.I'm not using BGBuddy so cannot talk about that much, but what i know is there are devs. over here who develops awesome plugins or botbase for actually "Honorbuddy" users.Maybe BGBuddy is still bugged, well GatherBuddy is not the excellent one either but with several plugins, it can be a good one.I know you have to pay for them but it's for your own good. How ? Well, imagine about the cutting edge BGBuddy with no problems to fix and acting like a human being with only baseprice of honorrbudy. After that you will notice almost every botter in the game will use same botbase to achieve something while doing PVP and you will have no advantage and you will seek for another product or botbase to give you an advantage over them.So in the end you will again "pay" for some other kind botbase to achieve something "private". Long story short, some of the current botbases might not be excellent, but they are getting better with efforts of developers.Same goes for quests, dungeons, gathering, profession and so on.I'm not here to defend anyone but if you consider the price you pay for Honorbuddy, i think you just want more than you paid my friend. And same mistake has been made by lots of players in different games, some of them paid that ultimate price believing "free is good" and lost their accounts or achievements etc. by choosing the same path.
We are not here to code our own plugins, as customers we want to get a working product. BGBuddy is not working, all it does is giving you a shortcut to a ban.
can anyone short explain to me whats all the complaining about BGbuddy is? is it a big chance of getting banned or what? i always thought it was fine
The logic in some of these posts in Damn asinine, why would I pay for something if I could code one myself? Also it's not called "framework buddy" all some people are asking is for the retard factor to be removed. The most blatant example is isle of conquest where it refuses to use the gates and inteads waits for them to close and proceeds to port out. Would you defend Microsoft if you press the start button and instead of giving you the drop down as it should it opens internet explore? But they offered a fix for 30 dollars more? "hey think of Windows as baseline and any additional non retard functionality as a paid premium add on" sounds stupid when put in that manner right?
