Good to hear the routine is to some use! @everyone: I'm now level 100 and the latest revision on SVN now supports tier 4 and 7 talents. I've updated the main post with recommended talents, but please experiment with different talents and help me with your findings if you want/can be arsed. I'm still a bit confused about when to use Stellar Flare and when to skip it. It looks pretty meeh compared to moon/sunfire. Next I will look at ignoring CC'd units, which I suspect that the routine will happily put dots on in its current state. Other high prio issues are handling dotting while moving, hurricane and implementing some minor defensive abilities.
The SVN version is updated with some configurable survivability! Default is using barkskin (since it is off GCD), but no heals. I'm too tired to do any extensive testing, but it looks like it's working. I will get some sleep and if there are any obvious errors I will mend them when I wake up.
Doing less than 5k dps @ level 100 with this; guess I'm sticking with Guardian which gives me 15-20k.
I'm sorry the routine didn't work out for you. I did some normal 5-man dungeons on my newly dinged ilvl 500 druid and pulled off between 10-18k dps depending on talents and fights, so I'm not sure how you got that low results.
For me this is very impressive. I've been doing some extensive testing of the different moonkin routines available, and so far, this is outdpsing the others by 10-15%, even some of the more well known coders routines.... Great job Can't wait to see the bugs iron out and it fully optimised. Great work. 630ilvl druid in resto gear for reference.
Hello! I noticed that not always used free starsurge, if cast spells, this is a significant dps loss, how to fix it?
Hello Elendriel! This mechanic changed in WoD, the proc now reads "Shooting Stars restores 1 charge of Starsurge and Starfall." This means that it may not always be optimal to cast starsurge whenever we get the proc, e.g. when it takes us from 0/3 to 1/3 charges. If I didn't understand you correctly, please explain more, perhaps with an example, when you think it should use starsurge when it does not. Huge thanks to you for trying and giving feedback on the routine!
I think that if there 2 or more creatures, should be used Starsurge, because not using it is a dps loss 10-15%, very often when a crit skill, he surpasses two cast wrath or starfire
Recent updates available through SVN: - Now casting moonfire/sunfire when moving when there is nothing else to do, instead of not doing anything. - Fixed a bug where we casted rejuvenation even though it was already up. I have to disagree with this. I don't think the routine is wasting any starsurge/starfall charges.
feels like this is going to be an amazing profile so far, but im having some problems with casting spells, it only use moonfire, starsurge and starfall, no wrath or starfire etc. keep up the good work
Hm, that's puzzling...which version are you using? I'm testing 5.22 against a target dummy right now and it casts both Wrath and Starfire just fine. If you can be arsed to post a logfile it might give me some helpful info as well. Anyway, thank you for the encouraging words and for trying the routine!
im not that good at this that i know how to post a log im afraid, but im using the newest version of honorbuddy (had an update today)
Thank you for the log file. There was a major bug causing the routine to crash if the player was below level 100. It should be fixed (can't try it since I'm level 100) in the latest version (SVN). Please update the routine and let me know if it works better! Also, I see that you are using a botbase called Raid Bot. Please note that I only support and test the routine with Enyo (link in main post).
Need to implement a CC check - too often breaking targets with AOE or random sunfire/moonfires on CC'd targets.
Status update: I have been very busy with school recently, so I have barely had the time to do any coding on Uggla. I have however done some cleanup of the code and started implementing a caching system for better performance. We don't want to routine to start running slow now when we're adding new features, do we? I also have lots of plans on what I want to do and improve, so there is definitely more to come! Any feedback? Thank you for the kind words. The AoE definitely needs and will get some love! Thank you for confirming the problem that I assumed existed but never got around to test in game! I've added a issue ticket on google code regarding this, it should be fixed in an upcoming update.
