after 5.4.1 patch I have tried every possible ways to run 32-bit wow client. 1) rename wow-64.exe ----> patch required error 2) delete or move wow-64.exe ----> patch required error 3) run wow launcher and check launch 32-bit client in game preference option ---> patch required error 4) add "-noautolaunch64bit" to wow.exe shortcut ---> patch required error HB do not work with 64-bit wow. so it is impossible to run HB at now am I right?
dont use wow launcher use hb launcher problem fixed, was easy thanks bye. e: if u refuse to do so, dont brag about problems.
how did u end up fixing it ? Im having the same problems wow just crashes when trying to start the game
and make sure you arent accidentally running the bnet launcher in the background. even clicking the wow.exe shortcut will restart 64b [even if you delete it] if the launcher is running in the tray.
hi create a desktop link from your wow.exe edit and put this one in your line (target) -noautolaunch64bit and it work german link klick
As haxxus777 said, the Battle net Launcher in the settings have predefined feature to run only 32-bit client, so: 1. Open the Battle.net Desktop Application. 2. Click the Top-Left Battle.net icon, then nagivate to Settings menu. 3. In the opened dialog box, navigate to the "Game Settings" submenu and tick the "Launch the 32-bit client (instead of 64-bit) option. Then you would never fear for launching the 64bit client. Cheers!
Yea, it appeared back in the BNet launcher again. It went away for a bit around patch 6.0, but guess Blizz decided to return it recently.
