I was leveling/killing mobs and i was teleported to a random inn in the area...luckily i wasnt afk i guess..my hearth wasnt used and it wasnt set to that inn
They know its kinda pointless to do that testing because the bot will find its way out. Was different back when most people used Pirox which didnt have mesh logic.
I got ported to an inn behind the barrels where you aren't able to get out or in for that matter Bot tried ofcourse to get out for 5 minutes xD until I manually used hearth, sometimes gm's actually like to play with you Most of the time they don't bother
Exactly the same happened to me. My character was killing some mobs while i was watching. Suddenly i was in a loading screen and came out in an inn.
Where were you guys? This happened to me today in spires of arak and now that I think about it, it happened yesterday too on a different character, but only in spires of arak. edit: Nvm, I'm an idiot. I just realized the garrison ability ports you to the inn.
I had someone called blizzardgms invite me to a group , i was watching the bot so at the time so i accepted and asked whats up, he didnt reply and left group. 40 mins later he invites me to a group again which i was still watching the bot and accepted and asked him why he keeps inviting me he just ignored and left the group again. was this some troll or could it be a gm? i was dungeon farming btw LOL just now someone added my battletag called BNETPLAYER what the fuck is going? troll or disguised gm
Its more correctly called scammer or goldseller spammers, neither troll or gm. I have blocked at least 20x of these fake invites in the last months, all are either fake or generic named BNETPLAYER or GM1001, GM017 etc.
I had someone named blizzardgms invite me to group as well today, i had been botting for 2-3 hours monitored when this happened. I declined because i figured it was someone again trying to invite me for bonus objectives or something when i noticed the name. when i did a /who and shift right click it gave me 0 players total, i attempted to whisper him back but no response. Honestly this seemed weird, really weird. Interested if anyone else has experienced this.
I can confirm for 100% that GM's does test by porting players to certain locations where they are stuck to see how the player is behaving. Also I can share another trick GM's do; They lift a character up into the air and drops it down (So they get fall damage) Usually a bot instantly sit down and eat, while a normal player would be all confused and hesitate for a moment. I got this info at first hand from a GM self.
