exe deleted, tried to reinstall clean many times

so today when my hb updated it deleted my exe. so i reinstalled it, the exe keeps deleting itself whereever i put the install folder and no matter how many times i do clean install. tried to restart pc between tries etc. nothing yet. any ideas?

 

did you download the latest version of honorbuddy from US and from THIS site? not any 3rd party links?


if you did then you should be fine, false positives happen all the time and they're nothing to worry about.

 

I used both the dl here on buddy site and your link. neither worked

 

looks like bitdefender is deleting it all the time, doesn't help to allow or disclude the file in scan. just a few after unpacking honorbuddy bitdefender delete the exe.

 

the only thing i can suggest then is switching AV's to something that isnt so overzealous.

 

i paid for my av and i paid for honorbuddy. both worked fine when i first starting using it. after update it should still work, just saying.

There must be some way to make it bypass. I guess I have my own look at it or just wait for next update.

ive had the same av together with hb up til this update. and i think i quote many ppl on that. so i wouldnt blame this on any of the 3 pc im running hb and same av on all. all worked til last update 100% no issues at all.
