I'm not sure if this is the right subforum for this, but so far the three times I've used the Arena drafter I've gone 2/3 and based on other people's experiences I thought it would have gone better. Is there something I'm missing? I'm using version #71...
The draft system is the same as before at this moment. The bot is still in huge development so you have to wait before improvement. Wait & see, it will go way more better
yes I do, playing on NA, there r just retards @ hearthstone, maybe if u try arena on EU it would be a little bit harder to get 12 wins
What people will soon have to understand about Hearthstone, is that it's not a matter of if you win or lose, but how you win or lose. If you're losing because the opponent simply had a better deck, or luck, then that's nothing you can do anything about really. If you're losing because of bot technical lssiues (e.g., not able to play all the turns in time, or an exception being thrown that eats up time and you have to restart the bot), then those things can be addressed. There's going to be a lot of AI issues that need to be reworked, but SF gives us the best starting place for moving forward with GvG support. It's not perfect, but nothing ever is, but it should at least get us heading in the right direction. As we move forward, we do want more game tracking tools integrated with HsB so users can understand why they won/lost, as well as the cards that were played so they can see for themselves. Of course it'll always be easy to say "it would have been better if the AI did X instead of Y", but that's not something you can just code into an AI as complex as SF is, as it does its calcs, and choosing things based on what it perceives as the best move rather than what might actually be better in context of the current game. We do hope to provide more game information to the AIs for HsB so they can make better decisions, but right now the biggest priority is getting back to a stable Release.
At the moment I see something strange at arena. The bot choose the mage and the card "Mirror Entity". Along 4 games I had the card at least at round 3 on my hand but the bot doesn´t play it. Even when there´s no other card to play he hold´s it back. Don´t know if SF will keep it for some realy special situation but when I have no minion on my side and only "Mirror Entity" on my hand he really could play it.
Unfortunately, I can't give you the answer to that. One of the things we're still working on, is understanding SF and how we can make changes to help inform users why it does or doesn't do something. That's an older card, so there should be a reason why it's waiting, but I can't say why or what the play conditions are for that card. As we spend more time on SF or our own AI, we'll be looking into working in a system of informing users why something does or doesn't happen, but it'll deinfintly take some time.
