After a discussion with Bobby53, we are no longer capturing issues here against Singular. Bobby53 has a very thorough and efficient work flow that is independent of the HBcore bug tracking process. We will just need to give him time to 'catch up' to the changes imposed by WoD. He is well aware of all the issues that people have been reporting, and just needs time to address them.

Bugs marked as "cannot reproduce" are usually due to problems with your particular Honorbuddy installation. For instance, third-party products that are not working correctly—you should disable Buddy Store streaming for all products. Another cause is interference from external programs or addons. Your best way to recovering from this always starts with a clean install.
If you continue to experience problems after conducting a 'clean install', and disabling the streaming of all products from the Buddy Store, you should seek help in the Support forum with your log that captures the issue.​

Frequently, your problem can be resolved with a 'clean install', and turning off the use of all third-party products—including all products from the Buddy Store. There is a strong chance the repair for your issue resides in the HelpDesk. However, if you are unable to resolve the problem using these resources, then by all means make a new post in the Support forum. And please, don't forget to attach your full, unedited log that captures the issue

Hi, Whiti,

It looks like the store is streaming multiple copies to your Honorbuddy. My guess is you've got 'trial', 'purchased', and/or 'beta' versions enabled for the same products.

Please properly manage your streamed content from your Buddy Store control panel. If no joy, please make a post in the Support forum regarding the issue.

Not a HB issue in most cases.

Good advise, download the ZIP file (not the installer!) and extract it into a new empty folder i.e. C:\HB, then install the 2013 Redistributable Package.
Reboot and make a complete Windows Update.

 

Hi, BaturalNoobs,

It appears that one of your WoWclient addons is doing this when Honorbuddy goes to sell. More than likely it is your Scrap addon deciding that the gear is fair game since your stats don't match.

Please disable all your WoWclient addons, and if the problem persists, show us a fresh log.

Autostart & HBkey

Hi there,

I figured, that when the command line argument "/autostart" is used at honorbuddy start, the arg "/hbkey=xxxkeyxxx" is ignored. In this case, the last key is used, that was logged in on this machine. If you don't use "/autostart" it will use the correct key.

I don't attach a log, because there is nothing to see.

The problem exist for example in using hbrelog with different keys on the same computer. It ignored the key-settings of hbrelog and used the previous one logged in. So it's not possible to start multiple sessions.

But you can also reproduce this by starting honorbuddy with a link and using the args.

Optimize HB Startup

Please optimize honorbuddy's startup process... it nearly freezes systems to the point that it is inoperable. I've noticed honorbuddy.exe > csc.exe > conhost.exe >> (cvtres.exe), loading up to 50+ times (or double that) and spiking the system processes to 100%.

 

1.)
Switch off Windows Aero-Design. This causes problems, often connected with conhost.exe, which is a command line tool for Windows design.

2.) If you're not using Visual Studio C#, you can safely delete csc.exe (it's (remnant? of) a C Compiler).

After all, it is not a HB issue and you should post your problem in the Support forum.

 

I'm fully aware of this... No, I will not disable aero, it is not a solution. I will not delete csc.exe, it is not a solution. It is an issue with honorbuddy, and yes honorbuddy CAN be optimized.

 

Have been playing my moonkin a bit more and have noticed, that no matter the mount setting (random or specific mount) or routine used (Stars or Singular), HB is always shifting out of moonkin form before mounting. Which makes the bot draw more attention to itself.

Not sure what needs to be done to fix it, but since Moonkins have been able to mount while in that form since the launch of Mists, wondering if it just got forgotten about or is a very low priority bug slated for a future patch.

Going to take a stab at it and guess that you need to download and install what it keeps mentioning in that error message.

On one of my characters I've been having trouble with him not attacking in Singular/Your raiding buddy and Xcesius helped me figure out that the global cooldown counter is bugged on my death knight.

We typed this in the developer console

and the results were

Even though my character is just sitting and auto attacking. The gcd is according to the results is like 40 days from being complete.

I tried getting rid of my professions to see if those were bugging it and it did nothing. I also tried the beta and there was no change.

I have archaeology at 530/600, fishing at 600/600, first aid at 468/700, and cooking at 600/700.

Please add checkbox that will disable (completely unload) all buddystore products from hb instance and prevent they from loading on restart. Also multiple profiles for what get loaded and whats will be great too. Now its pain in the ass to debug something and bot from one account with 3+ pages of store products.

ADD: also it will be great if i were allowed to hide obsolete stuff from my purchase list.

Is there an ETA for a new HB release? Lots of the classic DB scripts refuse to work properly since weeks (as posted in Dungeonbuddy thread). And my guess is there may be a fix for that only with a new release, so I'm asking here...
