Had a few problems earlier when attempting to start HB. Followed all recommendations for re-installing HB, also removed and re-installed .Net Framework and C++. After doing that I am getting an "Authentication Failed" error. View attachment 5124 2014-12-23 17.46.txt
Just to give you an update: uninstalled HB, .Net Framework, and C++ AGAIN. Re-installed .Net Framework and C++ AGAIN, then restarted, then did a windows update, then restarted AGAIN. Downloaded HB again, tried to run HB again, and got the same error with "Authentication Failed". View attachment 1272 2014-12-23 18.54.txt Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
download and install this. http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/E/6/2E61CFA4-993B-4DD4-91DA-3737CD5CD6E3/vcredist_x86.exe after your done restart your pc.
Thank you, found that after I re-read my log file and noticed it said something about the DLL file. Downloaded it and installed. No longer get the Authentication Failed error. But now HB "hangs" during login. Key window pops up, I click login, then it starts to do its thing and seems to hang, when I click anywhere on HB it displays (Not Responding) and crashes. View attachment 2428 2014-12-23 19.32.txt According to the log everything seems to be working correctly. Either I am jumping the gun and not waiting long enough or HB is crashing.
log into the buddystore, click on "My Purchases" and disable streaming on all products. to see if it starts, if it does add them one by one.
thanks for the help, I got it to work by uninstalling HB and reinstalling it in a different directory, then when I started it I left it alone and it came up just fine. HB is working great like it usually always does. Thanks again.
