Hi,

what is the Configuration/Algorithm for swapping?

I`ve two Moths in my starting Team and also other Moths in my Companion, but the Bot won`t swap, if one of the Moths dies.

What is the Bot looking for?

 

It looks for any lvl 25 rare pet with the combination of abilities described in the first post. If it doesn't swap, make sure you don't have any filters enabled (including search by name)

 

can this lv up from lv 1 to 25 as new pet start ? or I must get 2 lv 25 pets to boost lv 1?

 

You need other pets to boost it.

 

does it work on new area wod and which pets I must use , or just work on MOP ?

 

Only in Pandaria atm.. But I'm working on an area in Draenor. I spent a few hours yesterday trying to find the best pet for the area. Unfortunately, the best one was Kun Lai Runt.. But they're a little rare and cannot be purchased on AH (not cageable). My requirements are that it must be a pet that is rather common so they don't cost a lot on AH. I think I am sticking with Lil Bling.. But note that the area in Draenor is not as efficient as in Pandaria. So doing it in Draenor is only recommended if you need pet battles in Draenor for achievement or monument. For power levelling, Pandaria is still faster.

The thing is that in Pandaria, there is only aquatic pets, with aquatic adds. Maybe a flying once in a while, but it's not common.
In Draenor, the pets are beasts with either 2 critter or 2 flying adds. Critters seemed more common than flying, so I tried to find some that had mechanical and beast attacks. But I was not able to find a good combination while not being weak against flying.

 

The spot is sadly pretty much used on my cluster... yesterday 3 bots were running there and i'm even on a low pop cluster aswell. xD

Even got 2 whispers about botting. It works fine when ur alone. It constantly tried to run into wall when there was a dude killing all pets while bot tries to enters fight with them.

Still levelled around 40 pets to 25 during the trial period. Would buy it when more Zones are supported. Pandaria only (and only 1 well-known spot) is not gonna cut it atm for that price.

 

Same here. Great logic built into it. Just needs more places to battle. A spot in Draenor would be awesome, since you need Draenor battles to raise your pet garrison building to lvl 3.

 

If you read up a little bit, I wrote a post about adding a Draenor spot.

Oh, then it can be a completely different issue. There's probably some more info in the log. Can you upload it please?

 

I am adding a Draenor spot aswell, but it's not quite as effective. When all my stuff is properly updated for WoD, I will also look into adding more spots.

 

Will this always be "spot" specific? I'd like a botbase coded by you that is essentially pokehbuddy but with better updates support and implementation because that whole plugin, botbase, profile, mish mash is such a disaster to maintain any semblence of stability I've given up on it and do most of my stuff by hand.

Any chance for a straight up pet battle botbase that we can use our own logic or yours and possibly even have a place to get together and share logic etc..

 

That is outside the scope for PokeLevel. I have too many other projects going, so I doubt I'll be making a pokebuddy replacement soon.

There are a few spots that may be possible, in starter areas, but the bot needs to be able to move around the area on foot (not the hardest part), and, different pets would be needed.

Possibly rarer to find ones.

and if the pets in the area have stopped spawning , or they/you are killed, or the server goes down for a restart... Etc. it requires a tad more effort in coding a navigation bot to move between spawning areas and new nodes, or to set up the right conditions for some areas.

Just a lot more to set up initially than the fire and forget pokelevel uses.

There's also more occasional combat in WoD.

Pokelevel works where it is for now, (under a tentative definition of working)

Hi there,

Just purchased this, seems to be going great so far. Couple of suggestions for you to expand it...

- More logging, sometimes Im just standing around doing nothing. I think because the res pet is on CD. Would be good to know why Im waiting around.
- Flying to a stable to repair if needed.
- Flying to some other nearby areas if there are no pets battles available.

Then beyond that,
- Maybe working on other areas so we can work on other pet achieves
