      Overview
HonorBuddy plugin to create grinding profiles.

I wasn't in the mood to pay for grind profiles, so I ported my BuddyWing GrindProfileBuilder to HB. It just gets all the mobs you approach and adds their locations to hotspots. I sorta did a half ass job, but It works.

      Installation
      1)Unzip contents to Plugins folder

      How to use
      1) Load Combat Bot
      2)Open GUI
      3)Enter any settings
4)Click red button that says "Not Recording"
5)Drive around (doesn't have to be exact path, plugin will pick up mob locations pretty far out)
      6)Click "Save"

      Notes
      -Picks up repair points
-Keep GUI open when you are recording.
      -Profiles are saved to HB_Folder/Profiles

I've been struggling with making my own grind profiles for the past week, and I happened to see your post and got really excited.

New to writing profiles so forgive the noobness.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong with your plugin, I load up CombatBot, then I load an empty .xml profile with just

      <HBProfile>

      </HBProfile>

so it runs in combat bot. Than I press start. Than I'll log up the plugin and as I fly around I can see it seeing new mobs and adding them to the log, but whenever I press save, none of the cordinates I see under the plug in settings apply over to the actual XML at:

      C:\Program Files\Roberto\Profiles\

I'm sure I'm doing something stupid and it's an easy fix, I just wanted to take full advantage of such a great plugin and learn to use it properly. Thanks again.

You dont need to load a profile with combat bot. After you have loaded combat bot and clicked start, open your plugins window and open the GUI for GrindProfileBuilder. Just leave that gui open the whole time. Click on the "Not Recording" button and it will change to green and say "Recording". When you fly around, you will notice feedback on your log. It will say "ProfileBulder: added Bob" or something like that. Then you can click save. When you click save, you will see the location of the profile show up in your log.

      Hope this helps.

Hmmm darn, having trouble still. I am able to see all the feedback/waypoints under the GUI when I press "Review". Whole list of them, but no matter how many times I press save, the most I can get out of a profile is
Going to try a clean uninstall re install of HB, and than gonna see if I can manually add the way points from the review tab. Will post back with my success.

      Thanks again for the help.

Are you changing the max level? The only reason I can think why they wouldn't print out is if you are changing the max level to lower than the mobs you have. Ill have to have another look at it. I have finals this week. So it might be the weekend.

I am fairly new to the website but I seem to not be able to load the plugin when I unzip it to my plugins.

Compiler Error: c:\Users\\Desktop\buddy\Plugins\GrindProfileBuilder\ProfileBuilder.cs(57,30) : error CS0115: 'ProfileBuilder.ProfileBuilder.Initialize()': no suitable method found to override
Compiler Error: c:\Users\\Desktop\buddy\Plugins\GrindProfileBuilder\ProfileBuilder.cs(80,30) : error CS0115: 'ProfileBuilder.ProfileBuilder.Dispose()': no suitable method found to override

that is what it seems to give me wonder if anyone know's how to fix it.

Making a grind profile is super easy, even with out any coding skills at all.

Just take a grind profile you already have, and open it in a text document editor.
After that open wow + HB, and press "Developer tools".
A new window will pop up, if you target a mob you will see what fation that mob have and you can add it to the grind profile so that the bot kills that kind of mob.
After that you want some hotspots, witch there is a button for, so just press "Generate Hotspot" and you will get the complet code in your honorbuddy logg.

      EDIT:
Found this guide in the guide section.
