I was wondering what everyone's best choice is for a class to solo dungeons for gold farming + reasons for the choice. I'm personally thinking either druid or hunter. Also what is the fastest class to level through quest botting?
What dungeons? Low level by a high level would probably be a mage with arcane explosion, or any non-pet class with a readily available aoe. Dungeons with a chance of dying, probably a durid. And hunters are probably the quickest to level.
I'm sorry you use such a shitty class to bot with. You could probably cut 2 minute off that with a real, bottable class.
Hey, mate, no need to get passive-aggressive, really. We are here to share knowledge and help each other, not to prove our points. My tests showed, that for Stonecore rogues are the best. Their movement speed makes up for AoE of other classes.
I don't think the 2 minutes would really help him. Well it would help him hit the max instances error faster! But I think rogues would be my last choice as well.
Feral Druid = Dungeons. AoE is mid-range. Passive speed buffs are a major increase in overall GPH + If the profile is well written, it can be used to hook usage of Dash+Stampeding Roar between dungeon pulls. BM/Surv Hunter = Environmental farming. Ranged multi-pulls are executed at a optimal rate. High survivability. Decent AoE. I'd personally never suggest a Death Knight. They typically have a higher ban rate. Same goes with characters that are RAF'd or Battlechested.
You very VERY underestimate rogue bots. IMO they are by a long shot the best farmers IF you utilize them
Rogues have 195% movement speed and decent AoE with FoK/CT. They kill any boss in 3 gcds, so no time wasted here either. Oh, and they are immortal. I honestly have no idea what's wrong with rogues.
