Fresh install issue

Hi folks. So Im trying a fresh install but with the latest install file it wont allow me to install it. Several attempts but exact same issue please help

Thanks for your response. So I tried the zip file instead but when it starts it just errors and closes

Is this the log that you are talking about

 

Go to Programs and Features, in your windows Control panel.
Look for:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft .net framework 4.5.x
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable


and Uninstall them if they are installed.
Restart your PC.

run both as administrator.
after the both installs are completed, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
Then do one last restart.

 

Will it be an issue if the buddy wizard crashes each time I try and install it ?

 

Should I be concerned about removing the microsoft visual c++ **** x64 or is it just the x86 ?

Hi guys so I did everything you suggested and was able to get the buddy wizard installed but it still wont let me use the installer. The latest install log wont let me upload the file so I will have to post it via copy and paste

 

dont use the installer.
Download the latest version of honorbuddy.

Then do a clean install into a new folder. Do not reinstall over a previous installation or move items from the old installation into the new one.

then
wow needs to be running in 32bit mode.
to do this watch this video. it covers every possible way to get wow to start in 32 bit mode.

after wow is started in 32bit mode, get fully logged in and in game, then start honorbuddy by right clicking "honorbuddy.exe" and clicking "Run as Administrator"

On the attempt just now to use the zipped version not the installer I noticed my virus scanner removed this file System.Data.SQLite.dll. Could that be the reason for this not working ?

 

Ok any ideas how to do that with norton ?

 

your going to have to check its settings or disable it.
