Hello again! I see a lot of posts like "I have 5 bots on 1 computer and I need 5 copy of wow". WHY?! I have just one copy of wow and I can open wow x 1000.
Well it is for security reasons, every wow saves many different files into your PC which means the more "safe" people use different copys( I use different copys for the accs i bot&for the private accs)
It's just a stupid myth, that there is allegedly a "wow installation ID" tied to a copy of wow that Blizzard uses to track down your other bots. Nobody has ever produced any evidence of such a practice.
I would say its closer to trying to run the same program multiple times and having each bot trying to read and write to and from the same files set. Just for that fact alone I prefer to have a separate installation for each bot I use.
omg.. this is so stupid idea..this is not "safe" "safe" it is run wow on vm with different ip. PS you use different copys but still have ONE system registry\regedit....ONE Agent.exe ONE battle.net App
Why is that? If your talking about increased seek times from trying to read multiple files on the same drive, my SSD has been able to handle it without issues for a while now
because its still coming from the same hard drive serial number. the 5 accounts are still coming from the same mac address, too many people overlook this. but yeah I would love to have 5 accounts, run dungeons all the time
using different folders, so i dont need put login details every time tho im althoholic and stick to professions accounts. its more need coz of laziness, then for security reasons.
I Upgraded my comp last year so use my old one to bot on. I only have 2 bot accounts so i don't make alot of gold but it keeps me going.
wel I can open more many client but can't run them. just starting the game will not use that much power ... I wise it did the same ingame
I've been botting since the get go, be it Honorbuddy or Glider, and I've used both methods. I have only been caught in 2 bot wave bans (but we all were) and never singled out. It is a myth for the paranoid; how Blizzard bans botters is theory. Botters should be paranoid IN GAME not so much out of it. You can make a lot of gold with 1 account ...
EVERYTHING on this thread is based on speculation. But I know this for sure (100% tried and true) if you rub you stomach and pat your head at the same time when you're botting blizzard can't see you.
Oh you just put your foot in your mouth, my friend. NOW you're going to have to explain, in detail, to the little ones, how to just go about that statement.
You obviously misunderstood. If you want to run and bot 5 characters then you need 5 accounts, licensed and a subscriptions for each, from blizzard. You can run all 5 accounts from 1 installation of World of Warcraft. Edit: Additionally, you could setup a vSphere server environment and create a separate workstation environment for each account and connect to all 5 accounts from your desktop or remote desktop while using a VPN for each workstation through just one IP. This way nothing is installed, but the VM client software, on your computer.
