Total noob and I'm sorry

So I've been able to install and run HB and it's awesome. The confusion I have (because I'm dumb) is how to go about using the quest profile with the gather. I hope I'm referring to that correctly. I'd love it if someone would take the time and step by step show me how to set it up so that as the quest profile is running my character will also gather herbs, use alchemy and generally level up those 2 professions. Again I'm sorry for being so stupid and I'm sure it's buried in the forum already on how to do that, but it's all just so confusing for an idiot like me. Thanks in advance

 

Under the settings there is a box you can check for grabbing herbs. As far as alchemy is concerned I cant help you there but im sure there is a plugin or something that will help you out. Good luck!

Hi, Rustylhenderson, and welcome aboard.

You can only use 'gathering' professions—herbing, mining, skinning—while questing.

To do 'production' professions like Alchemy, you will need to switch to ProfessionBuddy with another profile. We have an entire ProfessionBuddy sub-forum dedicated to such things. You will not be able to quest while conducting 'production' professions.
