Hi, How can I make it so my machine I run my bot on has a different IP from my main PC I play WOW on ? Thanks
I want to say a proxy or VPN (i recommend hotspotshield) but im not quite sure how much lag that would/may cause
I thought about hot spot sheild but I am in the UK and I am guessing Hot Spots IP is in America, so might look a bit odd on blizz's end
try CyberGhost VPN, i heard hotspot shield tracks your informations (as all of VPN, cause they want to know if you make somethings wrong with rules, like hacking) so, try to use some vpn you see (google it) but i think nobody cares if you use any bot
If you think blizzard bans by ip's. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/all-kn...ack-knowledge-]-ip-address-[-lesson-ii-].html
I had 26 accounts banned for 500% Run Speed, Underground, farming with gatherbuddy. A couple of accounts survived. These were accounts that had never had a bot run on them. From this I concluded. Yes they used my ip address to link the accounts. No they did not ban accounts I did not bot on. Which means they had to investigate each account. After all of this I'm still using the same ip, still botting multiple sessions 24/7, and still not receiving another ban. You people are way too paranoid about this stuff. They won't start removing accounts that didn't bot for guilt by association until they are to the point where EverQuest is now wanting to shut it down. They have been doing this and driving people who didn't even get banned to want to quit as well for the newly established business tatics. World of Warcraft is quite a far way off from this stage, so for now I wouldn't worry about hiding your ip.
