Got this routine and really liking my ret dps increase. Does this work well with afk bot bases like bgfarmer?
We'll be adding Empowered Seals support for Prot shortly, everyone has been running Seraphim to be honest.
You should use the movement that's incorpated into the botbase if it has that feature. So for Bgfarmer I would let it handle movement.
Friendly suggestion with the auto attack, may want to blacklist NPC's and corpses as it tries to spam spells on them when interacting
I grabbed the trial and tried to run it with bg farmer. he moves around using the bgfarmers movement but doesn't seem to attack anything.
We need to be really specific here guys, The guys have already acknowledged that these things that you just mentioned need alot more fine tuning and detail implemented. If people like you who have both cr's could write down the features thaht tuanha has, and the features that can be added as extra and improved upon, that would benefit everyone using this cr from your expertise on the subject. This reply isnt meant to cause any offence, either
Does this CR also support Holy I was looking and only see ret and prot. I would like to know. Thank you.
The routine uses all Hands, not sure what you're talking about here. There's actually a full configurable list of Hand of Sacrifice CC, it freedoms and bops you or your party or both. Admittedly the Burst options could be better.
Okay so after using this rotation quite a bit I can say that when it's working it's the best I've used. There are only a few hangups I noticed: 1. Automatic seal switching works okay in raids/boss fights, which is what I'm assuming this was designed for. For heroic dungeons or simply farming/questing, automatic seal switching ends up eating a lot of your GCDs unnecessarily. Aside from the user being smart enough to turn this on/off when applicable, it might be possible to implement some sort of seal switching throttle to prevent it from wasting so many GCDs in a short period of time. 2. The protection rotation gives no consideration to the "Harsh Words" glyph. With the nerf of the Alabaster Shield glyph, this glyph is the only way for us to remain competitive in terms of DPS. While not a good glyph to use while taking damage, many boss fights have periods of time where the tank/off tank are not taking any damage. It is during these times that spending all holy power on harsh words glyph leads to a huge boost in damage. Keep in mind that harsh words is being completely removed for Prot/Ret paladins in 6.1, so I'm not sure this is even worth adding at this point. 3. There were a few points where the rotation just locked up on me and didn't cast anything for a few seconds. I wasn't able to reproduce this reliably and I'm not sure what caused it. I also do not have a log. I will work on getting some more information. 4. Rebuke also doesn't seem to go off no matter what settings I use. Will it only interrupt items in the list? Is there a way to tell it to interrupt everything? Again, other than the above issues, this is an incredible rotation system and currently is #1 for Ret and #2 for Prot, and the only reason another system is better in prot was because of the Harsh Words support.
Thanks for the feedback! 1. We'll check if there's a better way to handle Seals 2. Depending on the release of 6.1 it may be worth having Harsh Words in. 3. That's odd, the log might provide a clue though; we're going to add time stamping into it (should have done that much earlier)
It currently does only interrupt things on the list, an interrupt everything setting would be a nice addition and will make it in for the next version. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be rebuking though if the setting is enabled and it's a spell that's in our list, we'll have to look into that. You use Skype by any chance? If so, please add us.
