FPS Drop Issue (FIXED!) I'm encountering the same issue that a lot of other users have experienced. Prior to the most recent update was able to play at ~50 fps. After the update I'm barely experience anything higher than ~15 FPS. As soon as I close honor buddy, performance becomes consistent with my prior experience. Current set up: Processor: i7-2600k Memory: 8.00 GB GFX: GTX 560 Ti Disk: 128 GB SSD I've tried to run a variety of bot bases (Enyo, Grind, Quest...) and haven't seen any improvement. I've only attached the Enyo log but can submit the others upon request. Sorry for the clutter of an additional thread but I didn't want to piggy back off someone else. The prompt responses you've given other's are really appreciated! Let me know if I can help by providing any further information. Fix: Game menu > system > advanced > reduced input lag - toggle to enabled and back to disabled.
WoW is operating in Windows mode, not Windowed (Full Screen). I tried switching it to windowed (full screen) and then back to windowed but the problem persists.
I've been keeping up with a few other threads on this issue and tried a number of solutions before finding one that worked. Hopefully this can help others and it's something that can be shared more widely as the FPS issue has affected a lot of users. Open 'game menu' > system > advanced > reduce input lag Mine was toggled to 'Disabled'. I switched it to 'enabled' and experienced frame rates on par with what I'm used to. I toggled it back to 'disabled' and frame rates remained normal. Thank you for your response and efforts. I hope this information can help identify the cause or at least be shared as a solution.
Can you please open the developer tools, go to the console tab and enter the following line in the console: Code: StyxWoW.Overlay.Dispatcher.InvokeShutdown(); Then press the Run button.
Sorry I couldn't do this sooner. After running that line in the console I saw a drastic increase in frame rate. It's on par or slightly higher than what I previously experienced and certainly higher than toggling the 'reduce input lag'. I still have to run it every time I start up honor buddy but something more permanent probably requires an update. Thank you for the updated solution and the response to an older thread. Here's my log after the fix and running a quest profile for a few seconds.
After reading some of the reviews posted by others who have tried this fix I did some additional testing. I ran honor buddy with the Enyo bot base and a TuanHa combat routine for 5~10 minutes. I also accidentally left my usual WoW addons. Running that line in the console still seems to work. No crashes were experienced. I'll be able to stress test this more thoroughly tomorrow in a raid. The log is enclosed, just in case it's needed for anything. View attachment 792 2015-01-26 02.30.txt
