Hi Millz. Is this the mentioned opener fix ?

 

Possible to add a hotkey for "cancel current cast, use demonic portal teleport" ?
I know we can use the Pause routine hotkey and then teleport, but this'd be smoother

 

Easier prolly to make a macro then add to routine.....super simple macro and always works

Something like :
/cancelcast
/cast demonic teleport

Might want to double check name.....going from memory.

And you dont have to pause the routine to use the macro

 

Hey does anyone know if the minimum HP values that Kink posted in her T17 Guide are appropriate for say, Heroic/Mythic? Because I've done solid DPS using her settings on all Heroic/Mythic fights, however, on Normal I was struggling quite a bit.

I can post a log if necessary but I don't have any problems with my settings just seems to be a throttled DPS and I believe this is the issue. Would appreciate if anyone could confirm. Thanks.


EDIT: Upon reading more closely, I have found the answer. Kink's post clearly says that her HP values are for Heroic/Mythic.

Stacking it will be more DPS than going for 100% uptime I believe.

Macro's work fine. Enable Manual Cast Detection too if you're having major issues.

No idea what that question was meant to be asking, but I've just pushed a new build..

- [Demonology] Fixed entering Metamorphosis too early during opener before both HoG stacks are cast.
- [Demonology] Fixed a condition that prevented Dark Soul being cast before Demonbolts.
- [Demonology] Added some handling in for T17 4PC bonus.
- [Demonology] Improved double stacking HoG before switching to Metamorphosis form for Demonbolt.

 

I meant the release of the opener fix until Tuesday (this ID). But you have now announced the new build for today. Very well.

I hope HB will work with 6.1 as fast as possible or even better don´t have a downtime with the new patch.

 

6.1 and blackrock foundry release have no connection.......you relize this right? Dont expect to see 6.1 on tuesday.

 

I have thought that foundry is 6.1 because its a new instance with a new patch applied. But this doesn´t matter because a new patch will be applied if it is called 6.1 or 6.0.X and a new patch always means HB down for a undefinied time.

 

Actually your completely wrong. We already have all the game data for brf. It was beta tested same time highmaul was. It shipped with wod. They just have to flick the switch.......look in lfr tab you dont believe me. All the brf wings are listed there.

 

Jeah normally it works that way you are right.
But remember the opening of Highmaul?
There was a small patch right before that broke HB and no one could use it for the first raid day

On topic:
If I use Demonic: Is it possible to have a Hotkey to switch to Metamorphosis?
Or give it the option to make it automatically switch to Meta when there is a Trinket proc?
Or is this already implemented?

 

There's lots of conditions for switching into Metamorphosis form, so much so that it's very precise about managing that 10s cooldown between switching forms. It doesn't change on trinket procs or hotkeys - it just wouldn't fit into the rotation properly.

 

Awesome turn around on the 4PC bonus. I actually have been flagged to get my 4PC on Tuesday so it will be very helpful

Quick question though, how are you handling it ? HOG-> SB -> HOG -> SB -> HOG ? Can we please make sure we don't accidently sneak in a Soulfire in there as it will potentailly break Demo form. I do remember a few weeks ago having Soulfire in there caused an issue with HOG to not work properly.

Also just want to confirm that it will wait for that third stack of HOG, and how are you accounting for the HOG procs ? Will it ALWAYS wait for 3 HOG stacks or will it go with 2 if one procs. It seems to me that it should always wait for 3 as that will give you the dot tickets from 1 stack, then dot ticks from 2 and then dot ticks from 3.

Lastly, the proc. This is a very low case scenario. But can you please make sure it has the ability to handle 4 stacks of HOG. I know that it won't actually stack to 4 but this is the scenario I am worried about causing an issue with the CR.

Corruption -> HOG -> SB ***4 PIECE PROC HOG STACK -> HOG -> SB -> HOG You still have one stack of HOG left due to the proc. For optimal dps you SHOULD use that HOG stack and get the 4 stack of shadowflame instead of waiting for another 2 stacks. This would actually giv eyou the possiblity of getting a 5 stack of shadow flame.

I could be wrong here, but the math kind of supports this. Let me know what you think Millz

 

665 Demo Warlock avg dps using the aura list and pve settings provided is only 20k when various other dps charts say i should be in the 30-35k range what am i doing wrong?

 

Fully raid buffed with hero? Cause thats what them charts take into effect.

 

Going to need a lot more information then this. Buffs ? Hero ? What fight was this on? My warlock is 675 and this CR puts out about 32-45k depending on the fight
