      Hi, Alieno,

The problem is not actually the overlay, but the fact you've disabled Desktop Compositing some way.

Follow the instructions for "To Remedy: 'Desktop Compositing' issue" in this article:

      hi Chinajade,
Composition is ON, like it was before the new version comes up
      [IMG]

So i'd like to know if is possible to "remove" the overlay somehow or i just have to shut it down via console.
      ty very much.

      PS
      the problem is the overlay.
If i shut it down and everything goes fine, that is the problem.

      Hi again, Alieno,

No, there is no way to remove the Overlay.

And with the screenshot, you have indeed proved that Desktop Composition is disabled for this machine. :D

      To repair:
      Registry editor
      → Navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM"
→ The value of "Composition" should be set to "1"
→ The value of "CompositionPolicy" should be set to "2"
→ Save the changes, and reboot the machine

Hopefully, this will solve your problem.

      cheers,
      chinajade

      Changed and rebooted the machine.

I still have the problem and the StyxWoW.Overlay.Dispatcher.InvokeShutdown(); resolved it again.

tell me if i have to change something else
