Can the bot easily reach max level through fates and stuff? Is it stable? Also is there really no more questing the bot can do after level 15 and if so is there any ETA on when there'll be more quests bottable? So far I'm really impressed at how smooth it's doing the 1-15 stuff and I love this bot a lot more than ffxivminion and it's nice to have a similar UI to honorbuddy.
Using FateBot and a plugin to repair, you can level up very well any class to 50. I use Alreport till 25 => Quarrymill till 32 => Costa del Sol till 42 => Coerthas to 50 as my zones to do fates in. Due to the way FateAutLeveler works, it can sometimes mess up when your character dies or something strange happens, so usually I just pick the zone manually and leave FateBot going overnight then change it when the level is appropiate in the morning. Gotten all combat classes to 50 this way. Otherwise, you can quest past 15, only you'd have to make the OrderBot profiles yourself.
I went to Aleport but it seems the fates there are really much higher level than me (i'm 15)... like Sharknado is level 48. Won't the bot just die if it attempts this? edit: Some lower level ones spawned now so it seems like it will be a working spot
There are many fates there that are level 40-50 but in the FateBot settings you can set a min and max level fate so your level 16 doesn't run into a level 48 fate and die
Open the Settings for FateBot and enable the "max level" option so the bot doesn't do fates that are too high level for you.

Pretty much every zone will have a fate that is too high for whatever "sweet spot" you are grinding. You just need to set it not to do those fates (as others have said). I believe default settings will keep you from doing fates too high (I like to keep it 3+ levels above my own and that is usually efficient). Keep in mind that the storyline quests are pretty much going to be required to be doing much of anything end game. You will be stuck either manually doing them or waiting for someone to write profiles for them (some of them are boss encounters which probably will not be automated if I had to take a guess). I would also recommend you get your chocobo, as that is going to help with leveling too (dump points into healer is my recommendation). If you don't care about chocobo level, it will improve your movement speed from fate to fate, at the very least.
Thanks for all the info guys! I'm really liking it so far and right now the only thing that annoys me is that sometimes in the middle of a fate it will just stand there and the bot will say "Waiting to recover our health/mana back" It's quite slow too. Is there any way to speed up this process? Maybe there's food or something that I just have missed buying and if so how can i get the bot to use it?
Oh, I just noticed the combat routine section. I dunno why but I thought there weren't any of those yet haha. I'll try with that! I've been using the out of the box stuff.
The combat routines here are pretty good, but if you want one with lots of options, i recommend kupper. It also has option on when to rest or not. The default routine the bot comes with is very basic.
What you should do is get to 15, learn Miner, and leave the bot farming one night. The next day you sell the stuff, and now you have 100K gil.
I haven't gotten into professions but didn't they intentionally make gathering mats very cheap to thwart botters? Read that somewhere.
Not sure where you heard that from, but off of a single Miner bot running almost 24/7 I can make 10+mil a week, its a steady income, nothing super crazy but you generally get left alone as well, I run multiple bots, all doing different things and been making tons of money through it, mostly gathering.
Im having the hardest time leveling past 15. I just came back to the game since some of my friends are max level and love it, but I really hate the leveling. I have tried the Fate bot using the Fate leveling Guide but the bot seems insanely slow and it dies constantly even with the plugins and routines. I've made a few of my own grinding profiles, and while they actually work well, they give such horrendous experience. Is bot leveling in this game just not good? At the current rate its going to take months to get to max level. Thanks.
It's much better when you have a mount to get to fates quicker. Are you properly geared? You probably see high level players with mounts destroying fates before you can get there?
Well, the thing is, even with pretty decent gear, some of the fates with agressive mobs just destroy my character. I do have my mount, but there isn't many people doing fates even on my server which is one of the most populated.
Do lower level FATEs then. If you're level 25, there's no harm in doing level 20 FATEs. Get a good Combat Routine, set up FATE Bot properly, and let it go. If you're dying, move to a zone with lower level FATEs.
How do I do it? I have the "level restriction" button checked but what do the numbers mean? Does "0" mean current level or literally level 0+? And the dropdown box with like, +1 and +2 compare to your current level or the level you selected in the first text box?
