[PAID] BGFarmer - An Advanced Battleground Bot Base

Hey Millz,

I sent you a PM about making this bot base do events, and you answered, but I didn't want to keep asking you questions through PM in case others had the same question, so I figured I'd ask here.

Can I configure this bot base to ONLY do events? I don't want it to try to fight alliance as its driving by, I don't want it trying to win the road. I just want it to join the event group, and then go do all the events. Only. The reason is my server is basically a death zone for horde on the road, and a death zone for alliance at the events. I'm fine with that, but I'd like the bot to not try getting into fights, as it's just going to get murdered by 20+ vs 1 odds. It needs to stick with the group, and just run from event to event.

Can I do that with this bot base?

 

From what I've managed to find from the few posts above mine, this behavior is not yet implemented. I don't know the code base, so I don't know where exactly the check would go to skip combat, but from the little I've surmised from perusing the APIs, you'd have to skip movement towards enemies if you're set to events only & in Ashran. If you do that and people attack you, though, you're going to have to either attack, or run away. This would get problematic when running between events. I'm not sure if there's phases in the pulse, or if there's modes you can set yourself in.. something like "travel" mode? I know the base bot allows you to turn off pulls between hotspots, so I'd assume there's a way to avoid counter attacking when going to events. Just run from one to the other.

This is just spit-balling though.

 

Which Rogue CR is best to run with this bot base? I don't really care about the spec because I can change that if there is a nice match of botbase and CR.

Lost the log, but if it will happen again i'll make sure to save it Does BGFarmer return flags in WSG? I don't want it to go and capture the flags just to pickup flags if i should happen to kill a flag carrier.

Another suggestion for AV, could it be possible to make it defend for Loyal Defender - Achievement - World of Warcraft and only capture graveyards/towers for the other achievements?

 

It made some silly decisions, but I was watching HB scroll on diagnostic as it did and it did always make some sense why it did something so in all honesty it didn't really do anything in regular BGs that I'd call exclusively bot behavior. I am still learning how to set it up though as a healer. I think as a ranged DPS this thing prolly excels.

 

IMO just take ashran off the name completely its way to over priced for just a battleground buddy and he is not responding at all to the ashran stuff
I tried it I don't like it and it sucks nobody needs to farm battlegrounds that much an afk ashran capper would be great just to run around doing just the events I would pay for that But this I will not purchase
the free bg buddy works just as fine to gear you over night.

 

Yeah that is true. I have used BGBuddy for just half a day and im almost fully honor geared lol. I would prefer something for Ashran as it gets conquest too.

Two issues with Ashran so far:

1. The bot runs around in a weird path for about 2 minutes after an event is over; maybe there is a way to check to see if the event is over?

2. When two event occur simultaneously, it will leave the first event for the second one... even if the toon is already at the first event and it is not over yet.

- Time the problem started
A finite moment and specific moment in time something occurred. I need for you to indicate the instant you noticed the problem occur. That requires a time such as "14:53:02" or "Start of fight against boss X" or "Boss X around 50% HP". It is fine to lists multiple occurrences, but each should be a single instant/moment in time. This information is critical, especially in cases where you are posting about something that did not happen (did not cast Fire Blast for example.) If you find yourself wanting to say "Always" or "Everytime" then please re-read this paragraph until you no longer want to.

You can limit/disable fragments already in the GUI, but I'll change the priorities around so that events are higher. Will also reduce the timer on hanging around an area.

Disable mounting in the bot, and make your routine always stealth.

I'll add a toggle to disable finding a fight. It'll make it focus on events only.

Hey - Yeah it'll return the flags that have been dropped.

It doesn't capture graveyards - that's better left to real players (most of the time anyway...) - but it will go for the towers.

1. Yeah it's difficult to detect when the event has ended - I'm reducing the timers to aid with this.

2. It goes for whichever event is most recent - once the event has popped up as starting it'll go after it and write off the last one. This ties in with point 1 of detecting the event actually ending (which needs to detect from anywhere on the map, not just in the event area).

 

Spent most of today working on Ashran updates. It's looking pretty good - major improvement. Need some testers to help check it all out before I push it public. Any volunteers?

Change list so far:

- Fix for trying to vendor with NPCs we can't fully navigate to.
- [Ashran] Added usage of items (Disposible Pocket Flying Machine & Wands).
- [Ashran] Events are now a higher priority than collecting items.
- [Ashran] Reduced the amount of time the bot will hang around at an event area.
- [Ashran] Added option to disable 'move to find fight'.
- [Ashran] When in a group, the bot will now move to where the other party members are.
- [Ashran] Added auto accept group invitations.
- [Ashran] Added chat option to ask in General channel for a group invite.

 

Sure if you need it tested, I've got a few I need to run in Ashran.

all you need is your honorbuddy key, sinice the products bought from the store are streamed.
if you also lost the key -> contact the bossland support (at least thats what i know about it)

I only have one question, i was wondering if you can provide me a list of all the basses the bot uses in the chat option ( %base% ) so i can create some replacements. i'm afraid i will miss one otherwise.
