Next thing that happens is wow crashing :/ Its set on dx9, and its in windowed mode! (I tried those 2) I cleared my cache and i removed all of my addons too! Heres the log; View attachment 12-20-2010_5_37 AM 2080 Log.txt Any help?

Im running it as admin, yes. Ive just got a windowed WoW in the background when i start HB. I see it freeze and crash.
I have written a full guide on it, click GB Guide in my sig and there is a full walkthrough with visual aids
It's an issue with Win XP, I haven't messed w/ win xp in 6 years. When Tony is on he can assist you... MSN: Tony@Honorbuddy.com <-- he's not on it atm. and you're positive that the wow is on dx9 in the config? If you are getting this exception:Invalid Executor, Styx.Helpers.CharacterSettings threw an exception, or Error - Endscene hook failed: Value cannot be null.Parameter name: EndSceneProc passed to Executor constructor was invalid, or something similiar to that. Then you need to do this /run print(GetCVar('gxApi'))open the chatbox in wow copy paste that press enter. If it prints D3D9 ure all good if it says D3D11 you have to open your Config.wtf file and edit this row: SET gxApi "D3D11"Make sure it looks like this:SET gxApi "D3D9"
Added him. EDIT: The gxApi wasnt even in my config.wtf?! I did do the chat thing in wow and it said DXD9.
if its not in your config.wtf then it's default is usually dxd9 I add it in mine, but mine is also running properly I didn't see any .net errors ... as most xp problems are people not having .net 3.5 sp1 -- as why im stumped :\ edit: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/13823-hb-errormassage.html ^^ try installing the .net 3.5 sp1 from microsoft and tell us what happens
If i add it to my config, start wow, and check my config again its removed again... Is this the problem? It also doesnt remember me selecting windowed mode so i have to click windowed each time i log in...
you're attaching bot after you're in windowed mode and not before, yes? here is the .net 3.5 sp1: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...2f-5d1a-413d-8319-81da479ab0d7&displaylang=en
=( I tried I'm not a mod or tech, just a poster. I guess you'll have to wait a few for tony or one of the devs =(
