Do you like to intentionally violate the forum rules?

      Hey All,

unsure if im in the right forum, looking for an answer to a question, im looking at running a 5bot RAF team, i want to boost them up then farm gold with them, not to fussed with them getting banned but would like them to run for a long as possible to make the most out of them..

My question is should i run them each in their own VM and on a VPN with a seprate IP address or would this just be overkill and there just as likely to get banned if i do that as opposed to just on 1 pc running multiple instances of Wow/HB ?

Im also curious what everyone else does with there RAF teams and how they set them up so added a poll!

You can skip all the overhead of VMs but still have unique IPs per bot or per group of bots. Its what I'm looking at doing if I ever get serious. Its a little tedious to set up, but I have used it before for other web based applications. I've actually seen someone advertise the install of this, so people must be doing it. I'm also using it with another bot currently, but I'm looking to migrate to HB ASAP, so I'll be running through it again soon.

      The benefits:
Once it is set up, if the VPN goes down, the client DCs, so no IP hopping.
You can use your own cheap VPS IPs, or servers at known locations (your mates router), so no blacklisted IPs.
You can run several bots with the same IP if you want to.
You can choose to browse the web through any of the tunnels with a special shortcut, just close the browser to stop. (netflix outside US etc)
Your other internet traffic works as usual and won't mess with any of your apps.
You don't have all the VM overhead.
You can use your usual graphics hardware.

You should also purchase crystal lined tinfoil and fashion it to a hat : as to dawn upon your cranium.

VPNs are a forbidden topic on the Buddy forums.
