Hey again, I'm sorry to revive this thread. I was able to make magitek work for scholar, but since changing to white mage I get these errors in the attached file.
Hey joe, The CR should still function even with the error, as for magitek its pretty much a dead CR. UltimaCR seems to be the successor but doesnt support healing or tanking yet but may in the future. As long as you start a heal at least once the CR should take over on WHM.
Ah okay. I will try again after maintenance. Also yeah I tried ultima on my sch before finding magiket, it would dps over healing. It's like the dead dove scene in Arrested Development. It said it would focus on max dps, I dunno what I expected lol. Thanks!
Yep ultima is not really healer supported yet. Magitek definitely works fine though. Plenty of options too.
How does healing work? I normally have no issue just gambling with trial and error, but I don't want to start trial and error in a group setting where I'm the healer, lol. Do I just load up combat-assist like normal, and it automatically targets and heals players in the party with low hp?
On magitek yes its should be preconfigured as long as you have the updated items fine to make it appear in your CR list. Although i would go thru and make sure the precent at which it heals is what you like sometimes the regen spamming can get a little out of hand. And there is 1 more setting that i take off and that is alliance healing
