With the plethora of bots in random battlegrounds, just wondering what's the point? These bots are geared already. So what are they after? It's not like gold farming or dungeon farming with the purpose of "getting rich", etc etc. So what's the point? Is there something really good from them? Honor points and conquest points don't really seem like it's worth the risk considering how blatant they are now and you have a greater chance of being reported in a battleground vs questing/farming. We have all seen that famous bg video where out of 30 players there was only 1 real person. What am I missing? Why afk bot in random battlegrounds? 9/10 random battlegrounds seem to have at least 75% bots.
Bot in BGs to get the 620 PvP gear so that I don't get gibbed in Arenas. Then go do Arenas for conquest. As for botting when you're full 620 gear... who knows.
Ya I can understand for gearing, but when you see these bots fully geared in honor gear and even fully geared in conquest on some occasions, I just don't get it. Even if they were disenchanting the gear for dust, it's like the least efficient way possible and most risky way to bot.
To convert honor into Seal of Tempered Fate i supose. Or use the honor to buy gear you can sell after a x-amount of time. Who knows.
My vote goes for stupidity? Bloodthirsty title until they realize that takes a really long time even if you bot it then they get bored and go do something else for a year or two?
11 alts grinding CP? get another hobby lol no one cares if you have 11 CP alts let alone 1 they just wanna know if you are geared
I trade my honor in for seals of tempered fate. It's 3500 for 3 seals at the vendor in stormshield, better then paying gold/garrison resources/apexis crystals
Don't you have a War Mill? (yes I know it is one seal... before someone "kindly" points that out lol)
this is one reason i do a few bgs a week. however i have another theory. we are addicted to botting. we start botting and we are amazed at getting things for free ingame with no effort. we are new and dont really have first hand experience with losing a few accounts and how to bot in moderation. its like everything new, we over do it because it feels good to win. whether it be maxed honor, or buying gear. we just cant stop using the bot. we have to be doing something every minute or we feel like we are missing out on something. this is classic addictive behavior, not just a botting thing, or a wow thing, its psychological.
OMG are you a psychologist? you pretty much described what i do, but not that blatantly. I usually play wow for 10-14h a day mostly arenas and when noone is online to play i bot stuff like leveling alts, archeology, garrisons... Something that would not draw a lot of attention
sadly, while im botting, im usually tabbed, googling for ways to automate the rest of the game. for me it isnt about farming 10,000 herbs, or making 100usd a week anymore. its that 'aha' moment when i discover a new profile, or code my own profile and it works for the first time. i get that 'holy crap, it worked!!' feeling and it feels so good.
I would consider myself a safe botter. I have almost all my accounts automated with HBrelog to lvl alts then BG's on another toon, then check the garrason on all my toons and so on. I hardly even play the game anymore other then the check auctions on the main and make sure everything is running smooth. I don't get much joy other then automating everything I can for video games. Shit I have 2 PC's dedicated to running accounts and I sell the gold at the end of the month and buy game time. Wow isnt the only game I do this in to. I have almost every bot offered here and on some other sites. I have switch days with my games to bot and really that is the only reason im not banned. TLDR; I bot wayyyyyyy tomuch
