Very good post. It feels like a "chore" playing WoW without a combat routine now. Kind of like, why walk, when you could fly?
Yeah, I don't know what it is about botting, but its just so much more fun. Probably because all the MMORPGs I've played in the past, I've gotten burnt out on. I got hooked on Runescape wayyyy back in the day for the longest time, then it started to get lame. I started botting and that was a blast. I was running like 12 bots at a time, rackin up levels and gold. Then along came WoW. It was a blast off and on with friends, but when I came back to play again with my friends I found HB, and its just so much more addicting haha. I can skip all the boring questing, and having to spend billions of hours becoming a master at my classes rotation. Which I currently don't have time to do due to college.
Could be for PvP mogs or looms! Or they went on vacation to Chicago and Got murdered, And they will just bot randos forever . You never know .
Why BOT in raids? Why BOT in achievements etc? The answer is the same: because people are dumb, they purchase wow, they purchase hb, while sitting there watching and masturbating instead of playing. Earning money from this shit is completely another matter.
