[PAID] [Priest] Insanity - An Advanced Honorbuddy Shadow Priest Routine [PvE/PvP]

I would like to add in my personal situation on Blackhand with 2set Cop Standard worked best.

 

I'm raiding in BRF HC and have a ilvl 672 but i'm able to get over 30k dps on most fights.
the most important thing as priest is to predict movement so you can get max tick of like mind flay if I have a fight with movement and i have to move to much then my dps can drop by acouple of k

I am 685 ilvl atm with 4pc tier. I am constantly ranking top 100-150 world in shadow.

Gruul - 40k
Beast - 55k [I use cascade instead of halo here]
Oregorger - 34k
Operator - 57k
Franz - 40k I use Surge of darkness instead of insanity, the last phase is too much moving around to make use of insanity
Flamebender - 42k
Kromog 41k
Blast Furnace 59K [I use cascade instead of halo here]
Maidens - 46K I use Surge of darkness instead of insanity, the last phase is too much moving around to make use of insanity
Blackhand - 41k

In short, we are amazing dps. I wrote a little guide as to the manual input that is required to achieve max dps, NEVER expect to just "set it and forget it" as you will not do well with that mentality anywhere in any raid. Especially until Millz has the time to prioritize Mind Sear:Insanity in his routine you have to manually spam DP and use mind sear to get your padding in

Please take a look a few pages back and you'll see my writeup. I believe we are one of the strongest DPS classes when played properly. I am never lower than 3rd DPS in my raids, and i play with very exceptional players. But who knows, maybe they are bots too

Shadow Priests are definitely in a good place at the moment as far as DPS goes, the biggest issue with them is how overly complex the rotations are. The DoT Weave rotation compared to other classes/specs is ridiculous.

I m not sure how it works to set Hot keys to change the Rotation in fight.
I set a key but nothing happens

 

I don't even remember seeing an option to hotkey between CoP lite/standard/dot weave. I'm not at home so I can't poke around with it till this evening though.

 

how's this for pvp compared to other proflies?

 

I just have it open in a second monitor and switch it on the fly.

 

You set the hotkey then press the combo until it switches to the rotation you want. It just cycles through them.

You can try it out for 48 hours via the buddy store to see for yourself. The trial option appears once you login to the buddy store site.

I noticed that it has stopped casting mind flay since the HB update

 

Its casting Mind Flay, but its dont casting Insanity in COP Modus, in COP light its only casting Mindflay, not Insanity

 

In AS it was also not casting mind flay for me

 

Yeah, had to do Mind flay Insanity manually this raid it just broke, DP needs to be implemented before mind sear and MB is being cast on full orbs instead of DP and spend orbs.

Any update with the Mind Sear: Insanity priority implementation?

I'm having a bit of a problem counteracting the rotations on fights like beastlord.

I'm losing a good 10k or so finishing dps because it casts insanity flay instead of sear on pack beasts etc.

It prioritises Mind Sear once the units in range goes over the high AoE unit count value.

 

Yes but it does not use "Insanity" it wont cast DP it just regular mind sears with 4 orbs etc.

And mate, my guy is not mindflaying anymore either

 

Yeah the aura has changed. I've fixed Insanity in my copy, will look at Mind Sear now then push a new build.
